A simply amazing remote getaway only 9 hours from Perth. Such unspoilt natural beauty and sealife. We stayed at the lodge which was a welcome crossover of the rugged landscape and creature comfort.

What a wonderful experience this is. Easy to book from the website. Warmly welcomed on board by Bec. Safely taken by a comfortable boat by Jacob. Delicious morning tea and lunch by Tori. Interesting tour around by Jacob and Bec to the blowholes and marine sanctuary. The part I found most interesting was the history of the island from Dirk Hartog a Dutch seafarer/explorer in 1616 to the present day lease holders. Highly recommended

**this is for the camping and not the lodge itself** One of the best campgrounds in WA! Seriously though what a spot. The campgrounds have an incredible view and we had plenty of space as it was slightly ‘out of season’.The facilities were the best we had on our WA road trip. Great showers and the owners & staff were lovely and super helpful.The little bar at the lodge is so cute and fun & a go to for people on the island! We brought their gin & it was fantasticThe lodge is only about 20 mins from the barge, If you’re driving & it’s handy if you’re planning on exploring the islandAn epic wee place and we hope we’ll be back!

Truly amazing place. We are in the Ocean Villa not the Lodge but part of this extraordinary complex. Right on the beach, kayaking, swimming and lounging around. Highly recommended.

DHI is a truly unique location. Nothing else in the world compares to this island. The sunrises are breath taking, the secluded beaches amazing and the fishing is the best in the world. Don't get me started on the other marine life. Stayed in all accommodation - lodge, boat villa and camping grounds. They are all superb and without fault. Truly addicted!!

I cannot recommend this place more highly, in my opinion the best holiday destination in WA, particularly if you love the beach and ocean. Tory's cooking is off the charts, the staff are all fantastic and the whole experience is just brilliant. I cannot wait to return.

Best place we've stayed at all over Western Australia, magnificent array of ecosystems from cliffs to sanddunes to beautiful beaches with not an other human in sight. Add to that the history and the wonderful eco lodge with phenomenal food and service in this family owned and run place and you have a top destination globally

Myself, My Father and my Uncle recently stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful resort. We were treated like kings and wanted for nothing. The meals were of the finest order with lashings available, there was never anything too small we could have asked for that was not readily supplied. I and my fellow travellers highly recommend this resort.
