Friendly service, steady stream of customers during peak season and Saturday evening. Advised 20 minutes, received per guide. Florescent bright yellow colored chips a bit strange, cooked but could go a smidge longer. Good batter, fish cooked well. Old school Fish & Chip shop, country style. Expensive at $70+

Give this one a miss we ordered for Good Friday and although quick and staff friendly it wasn't nice at all. The chips dry and tasteless the grilled flake rubbery and dry, the battered fish overcooked. Sad as I don't normally write negative reviews but was disappointed

This was the worst fish and chips I have ever had I would not recommend this place first thing had to wait 45mins+ then after I got the food went back to hotel and found out they forgot the chips had to go back and get chips. Then when I got home and had the food my potatoe cakes were really over done calamari was too oily mostly batter. My wife's gf fish and pumkin cakes were that oily that she couldn't eat it along with the undercooked sweet potatoe cake they only thing we could eat was the chips.DO NOT GO HERE VERY BAD SERVICE AND FOOD SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Service was fine, but the food was oily and the whole family felt unwell afterwards. I don't know how they did it, but the chips were greasy and crispy at the same time. Fish was overcooked and batter was burnt.

Waited 49 min for 2 grilled Flake small chips 2 prawns cost $32.502 Very small piece fish served coldChips that had no potato inside and to crisp to pick up with a fork, dripping in oilPrawn were hot and tastyCannot recomend this establishment

Considering how busy (30min wait) they where on a Saturday night it was very tasty fish and chips. Not under or over cooked and the flake was cooked perfectly. Also with a gluten free option was great. Good service as well, very friendly. Our preferred local

The fresh fish was amazing. You can order the different fishes on the menu fried or grilled. I ordered the blue grenadier grilled and it was awesome. I was in many expensive restaurants and the fish was early as good as here. The fries were as well super good. I cannot understand the bad comments from other people about too soft fries. The owner is so nice. Just go to him, tell him how you like your food and he will change it. Super good shop with an amazing price- performance ratio and lovely owners. I will come again. Of course. Deliciouuuuus

Went here today would not recommend or go back!Chips were yellow strange colour and had a funny taste and dry potato cakes tasted like they were a day old and the flake was absolutely discusting it was all brown my 5 year old son with special needs could cook better.... The staff were lovely but the food is poor :(

Probably one of the better fish and chip places on the island. Potato cakes, chips, dim sims and the fish were all good. Generous amount of chips served that weren't overcooked. Fish was fresh and not over battered. We had takeaway and sat at Cowes Beach and enjoyed the sun setting. Staff were great and very helpful and engaging with customers which was nice because they were extremely busy.Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant.
