Amazing !!! This is a letter I should have written many years ago. We owe a lot to Rosemary Boon. Our son was diagnosed in Year 2 with anxiety, inattentive type ADD and was in the bottom 2% for auditory processing, meaning 98% of children understood spoken instructions better than he did. We were told to put him on Ritulin to avoid him feeling any depression for being different....... Rosemary came recommended. We have never read books on our son's diagnosis, we just followed our instincts and stuck with what seemed to be working. Rosemary was strict, tough and terrified our son at first, but that made him follow her instructions to a 'T'. He grew to love her and her unusual techniques. We followed diet changes, sound therapy and neuro therapy ? We didn't tell our son's teachers what we were doing until they started asking us if we had any idea why he was improving so quickly. They had noticed big changes in his concentration and focus in class, and in his memory retention of information taught. He still asks to see Rosemary a couple of times a year when he feels a little anxious before exams, as he has felt the benefits of her processes. He is now in year 9, in the top class for every one of his subjects and 13th out of 300 students in his year for maths. His mindset is very strong on doing well and completing his HSC even though he still has over 3 years to go, without any pressure from us at all. He still dislikes school like every teenager, but he always tries to do his best. He is very well adjusted and we are extremely proud of him. We will be forever grateful for Rosemary's help and expertise and believe the many weekend visits, hard work and patience was very much worth the effort ! We wish more people knew about these methods of helping their children. Give it a try, go with your instincts, what have you got to lose !

One of the few places to offer me actual treatment options for Sensory Processing Disorder, something no one else could really do despite years of searching. Rosemary is incredibly knowledgable and always wanting to learn more in order to further help her clients. She has a holistic approach to health and treatment and is very straightforward in dealing with clients which also makes a nice change from many other practitioners.

Rosemary is a miracle worker! First she helped my son with Aspergers and anxiety problems go from unbearable to be around, to a beautiful, relaxed boy who no longer has a diagnosis and is doing well at school. After those results i was next! Rosemary has changed my life, cured my anxiety and insecurity, and also helped my daughter. If it wasn't for Rosemary i don't like to think where my family would be now. I owe her so much and am thankful every day we found her! Forever grateful

Ever since William was diagnosed with Autism at age 2 1/2 we have searched for therapies to help him. He has made great strides in behaviour and development, through a gluten and dairy free diet, movement program, bio meds, speech therapist, OT and a psychologist. However no matter how hard he tries he struggles to learn. He is 12 years old and is at the reading level of a grade one and maths level of a grade two. Having this learning disability has greatly impacted his confidence.William has attended a special school for children with Autism for the past two years and we had hoped that he would be able to go to a mainstream high school with his twin but at a meeting with his teacher at the end of term one we realised that William wouldn’t be able to. So the next search for a new therapy started and we stumbled across Neurofeedback, after doing a lot of research on the therapist’s who offer this service we knew that Rosemary Boon at Learning Discoveries was the right Therapist for William. In April of this year Rosemary completed an EEG on William followed by a week of intense therapy for two sessions a day, by the end of that week William went from not being able to do his times tables, to being able to sit down and completing his times table work sheets with ease.Twice a week William has neurofeedback therapy and every day he completes 45 minutes of Samonas Sound Therapy at home and every week we see improvements in his school work. His teacher just can’t believe the change in him, he has gone from a boy who didn’t participate in class to a boy who puts his hand up to answer every question. He went up four reading levels at one testing, a forty percent improvement! It is wonderful to watch William develop and grow in such a short period of time, to see your son struggle at school is heart breaking and then to see him finally gain confidence in himself is a wonderful feeling. I am blown away at how fast we are getting results.I believe that Neurofeedback was the missing piece to Williams puzzle, it is the cement that was needed to join all of the other therapies together.Rosemary has given us hope again of William joining his twin at high school.Jo and Rob Seidel

Hi my name is Joanne Houghton and I am 37 years old, married and we have a 4 year old daughter. I moved to Sydney from the UK 2 years ago.Rosemary and her team have transformed my life, giving back my ability of being a functional adult. I would like to share my story and feedback of Learning Discoveries in hope that I can improve other people's lives like it has mine. When I was 5 I fell over in school and hit the side of my head with great force on a solid metal table. This lead to a fractured skull and subdural hematoma. The blood clot removed was a size of an apple and I am very lucky to be alive.I did not receive any rehabilitation once I had finally recovered from the trauma. I literally had to get on with life as if nothing happened, but back then the research and resources weren't what they are today. For as long as I can remember I have suffered greatly with controlling my emotions, I have always suffered with uncontrollable rage that I have lost many relationships, I knew deep down I was a nice person and this other side to me didn't make sense. I have depression that was triggered after I had my daughter. Being pregnant did not agree with me and my health and mind deteriorated. We moved from the UK to Sydney over 2 years ago and I discovered the health system was very good. My depression was aggressive and I found myself falling into a black hole. I had very low moods, zero motivation, low self esteem, no ability to cope with every day life. Little short term memory, not able to stick to anything, overweight and the list goes on. I checked myself into a psychiatric hospital for 3 weeks after a break down. This was the final straw and after my time in hospital I researched on google my symptoms, my head injury etc and came across Learning Discoveries.I read the website and I knew this was my answer to have my brain mapped (QEEG) to see what has happened, if anything, from my accident. It showed I have Traumatic Brain Injury and depression, also ADD and Audio Processing Disorder, my brain was very dysfunctional. I felt a sigh of relief after all these years I wasn't going mad and there was something wrong.Rosemary looked at my QEEG and explained the findings and also highly recommended me to see a bio-chemical GP from symptoms I was showing. The blood tests confirmed I had Pyrrole Disorder and Undermethylation, this is exactly what Rosemary thought. I had not even heard of such disorders and since discovering this and taking supplements I feel a lot better within myself. But the main reason I am able to type this is because of Rosemary and her team have given me my life back, the right supplements and the treatment I receive weekly. Neuro-feedback, sound therapy and Neuro-field have been truly life changing, I can not put into words how much happier I am, calmer, being able to concentrate and organise things which 6 months ago were impossible. I was taking 100mg of Zoloft daily and have reduced to 25mg to none by the time treatment is finished. Amazing, drug free and well.I often wonder how I can spread the word to those who suffer with mental illness, learning difficulties and brain injury, this journey has revolutionary.Thank you Rosemary, Denise and Caroline for giving me my life back.Jo.

I can’t express enough the positive changes I have seen with my daughter over the last few months since having her regular sessions with Rosemary. Unlike some other places we tried, Rosemary was interested in getting to the root of the problem without resorting so quickly to medications. I feel like I have my daughter back and I owe it all to Rosemary’s dedication, care and experience.
