Sydenham Early Learning Kinders

I send my twins to the 0-2 year old room and I’m really happy. I got recommended by my cousin who sent her two kids. We decided to send out kids there as one of my children were showing signs of ASD and needed to improve her social and emotional skills. I advised the child care and advised the manager Natasha and she was really understanding about it. I explained my goals and expectations for my twins and advised how I struggle during their meal time as both twins were prem it’s generally been harder to feed them. Natasha gave me reassurance and provided a plan moving forward which made me feel comfortable. My twins are now eating with spoons (which is a massive win for me) they have slowly showed improvement with their eating. They are both thriving at this childcare, you can tell the staff have a passion for the kids that attend and I want to help the kids develop and grow. Both kids adjusted so well. They never cried for me they were always happy and they’d come home and would talk so much and would want to hug and kiss me all the time it was unbelievable what they were learning there.Because I am at home looking after a newborn while the kids attend 3 full days a week at the childcare I also miss the kids and what makes me feel at ease about the kids going is the fact that I get updates and photos of the kids through the app. I also get updates and photos of their development is going and how they are transitioning. These updates are really important to me.If you’re thinking about sending your children to a childcare I would honestly recommend this place. The staff will be so loving and nurturing and really listen to your children’s needs.Thanks team and thanks Natasha for listening to my expectations and what I needed for my kids! I’ve noticed a massive difference in my kids since attending there!

Sydenham ELK has amazing & caring teachers, an excellent chef and great facilities that encourage play, learning and social interaction.Both of my girls have excelled at Sydenham ELK!

Highly recommend, I have 2 children here who love attending and the staff are just fantastic with all the kids.They have great facilities and an awesome outdoor play area.

Wonderful, caring and dedicated teachers who show genuine love for the children in their care. I love how you can access the app and see pictures and comments of what your child has done that day. Very accommodating and actions requests so efficiently. I have moved my eldest child to this school and she has adapted so well which proves how well the facility operates.

I would highly recommend this center. My 3 year old daughter goes here and the staff are always so comforting and amazing at what they do I couldn’t ask for more. It is a very friendly center and feels very homely.

This is my first time putting my 4 year old and 2 year old in childcare. I am so happy I decided to go with this kinder. The staff are absolutely amazing, so warm and welcoming and you can see they genuinely adore the kids at the centre. They always are able to update me on my kids time at the centre without every having to ask and they know exactly what’s going on with every child. I’m so happy to have found a centre where my kids and I are comfortable. Thank you to the whole team there and especially Kylie for just being amazing and helping me navigate a new phase of my kids life. Would highly recommend.

Our little boy attends Montessori and boy o boy he has flourished like never before. They have excellent teachers; I cannot stop raving about them. A very structured way of learning with lots of variety in activities for the kids. We are extremely happy with the centre ...5 stars Sydenham ELK.

Both my sons attended SEL in the 3yr old room and Montessori room. The learning syllabus is varied and my boys both excelled, the staff are wonderful, and the onsite cooked food always healthy and nutritious.

I sought casual enrolment at this centre for my child while we were staying at the area and thought it was a good place for kids but unfortunately ended up having a traumatic time. There was a bad experience of bullying and harassment from a 5 year old boy at the Montessori room and the centre just denied it when I already saw at the start how the problematic boy was so entitled to scream and degrade that I had to intervene as a mom because it was EXTREMELY unpleasant how that boy treated my child at the first day. After giving a heads up to the supervisor I thought my daughter will be in safe hands but I was wrong. They failed to perform their duties and seemed neglected because the worst had transpired later on that day and I got a report how she was physically hurt by that problematic child without anyone attending to her even when crying!When I confronted the educator and manager the next day it was plain denial that no one saw what happened and they can’t let anyone access the CCTV ( to cover up themselves) so a report had to be sent to Dept of Education and Training for investigation. They only said it’s ok to say they didn’t see it despite my attesting that my child never lied to me about these kinds of things as bad as it seemed. It’s NEVER OK. No good resolution on their end. Just when you’ve entrusted your child to what you thought would be a safe and secure space actually turned out otherwise. I ended care right there and then. Yet later on I kept getting charged and wrongfully debited with fees. As it turned out they entered a wrong end date by one year extra yet the fees charged were not reverted. Very stressful time and horrible experience I won’t recommend this centre at all.
