Totalspan Ipswich

TOTALSPAN built 2 sheds for me at end last year (2019). Staff and the construction crews were obliging and competent - they quickly overcame minor problems and issues with both jobs. Both sheds were erected on time and within budget. They are worth talking to for a quote.

Not recommended.. waited weeks for a quote, called the owner several times before he finally got back to me. I made a few small changes to the design and waited another 3 weeks, the owner finally called me back and said he’s lost all my paperwork, had to explain to him what I wanted again. Got the quote a week later and the price went from $22,500 to $43,600 just by adding in a PA door, small window, insulation to roof and 2 whirly birds. I replied asking if there was a mistake with the quote, been 3 weeks and haven’t heard anything back. I always like to support local small business but when it comes to spending this amount of money you want to be dealing with someone who’s a bit more professional. I’ve taken my business elsewhere, there’s plenty of other “Shed Companies” around in Ipswich, do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time with Total Span.

Our shed in the Lockyer Valley is great. Totalspan Ipswich did a great job building it and we're rapt with it. David will come out and do a site visit, and whilst they weren't the cheapest quote, they were professional with great communication and our shed was completed in a timely manner.

Absolutely useless, promised us the world but did nothing but waste our time, does not reply to emails, always chasing the owner for the quote, very slow and unprofessional. Finally got a quote and I replied with a few questions, been 3 weeks and still haven’t heard back. Ended up going with another local company and I should have just done that from the start.

BUYER BEWARE......Bad service bad workmanship always chase owner up to complete the shed..... had to contact QBCC on a number of times to get action... and shed finished poor product beware ....contacted TOTAL SPAN BUNDAMBA to get a quote on a 6x9 shed, owner (PAUL) came out measured up and quoted... came across a nice guy said that they would do EVERYTHING! They said that we did not have to do anything and they would organise everything.. i thought great as i am not very handy. . . What a big mistake.. beware... BOXED the concrete slab in the wrong spot.....shed erector dropped 1st roller door and broke it... it took over 12mths for the owner to come and collect the old broken roller door....got a letter from the certifier that he was retiring and that the shed had not had its final inspection but did not physically receive the letter until he actually retired, no courteous phone call nothing. Contacted the certifier he wiped his hands of the job, he said contact the shed company, i contacted the PAUL (THE OWNER) he said that I WOULD have to pay the CERTIFICATION FEE AGAIN AFTER I PAID IT IN THE INITIAL FEE to get it finalised.... Did not offer any compensation or offer to use his current certifier.......shed was leaking after so out comes the owner and just uses silicon.... Very Poor...
