I recently visited Boardwalk Social and had a great experience. The restaurant is located right on the boardwalk which makes for a beautiful view. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed the seafood dishes that were offered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place for a meal. The prices are fairly reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I will definitely be returning to Boardwalk Social in the future!

The entertainment was outstanding.The 2 staff were gloomy and unfriendly. I asked the young lady if she was having a tough day she looked so miserable and tired. She said yeah I am really tired and can't wait to go home. I said well it would be nice to see a smile. She smiled. Customer Service Training needed here!

I enjoyed the views and the food. I had walked up and down the Esplanade searching for something to suit my mood. The live sports on the tele’s caught my eye and the friendly service at the bar reassured me. The place is huge and the tables were only sparsely occupied, I‘m not sure if that was a good sign. Nonetheless, I drank my Little Dragon Ginger Beer (my favourite, and seemingly only available in Cairns). That put me in a good state of mind and when the steak sandwich arrived it topped the experience off perfectly. Deliciously tender steak, in a Turkish bun that was easy it eat, bacon (need I say more) and the caramelised onion chutney all worked together sensationally. The walk back to the car in the warm Cairns air with the sun setting helped cap off the experience.

Mediocre pizza and a great burger with a dry bun (which to be fair isn't too bad considering it was gluten free). The service was relatively quick and they offered gluten free options, but the pizza was very bland.

Meal option has cut down a lot, not much choice. Free kid pizza for every adult meal. However, my kid suffer heavy vomits few hours after the meal. We ordered 2 import beers from tap with member discount of 10% but still cost $34.20. I believed cashier had overcharged us. Perhaps it will be a last time to dine in there.

Good spacious place to have lunch and watch the footy in the afternoon. Pizza was a great choice.
