Horrendous experience throughout my entire 3 year tenancy. Emails, phone calls, texts are never returned, we had to wait months to get ovens repaired, toilets fixed, water leaks plugged etc etc - we even had to wait 4 weeks to get our bond returned because of their ineptitude - they didn’t know how to file the claim, I’m not kidding unfortunately.Even getting the CEO involved didn’t help, he promised big but did little. I’ve leased 5 properties over the past 14 years and Hodges were the worst by an absolute country mile.

I was on my way to attend an inspection and told them that i am running 3-5 mins late but the way the staff responded was very rude and not professional at all. Worst customer service. I wish could give them a no star review.

1 star is even too much. I was the neighbour of the property which is managed by Hodges Bentleigh. It was for the fence replacement between the properties. It has been taking us more than 2 monthes to sorlve it, but its still not finished yet. It is definately Hodges holded up the whole process. The quote has been updated twice due to the long waiting time from Hodges. The neighbor owner even did not know the quote until my fence guys got contacted with them. Also the agent from Hodges is very unfriendly on the phone talk. I will never leave my properties to Hodges Bentleigh in future.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL real estate agency. Engage their services if you'd like to lose all your prospective buyers and tenantsWe received an email from the rental department manager (Stephanie Hume) out of the blue informing us that we were in breach of our lease agreement - claiming they have reason to believe there is a 3rd person living within the unit". WOW mind you

I have never had such horrible service from a Real Estate agency regarding managing a rental property. Emails go unanswered for weeks on end, phone calls not returned/not answered and when I finally get through to someone they are unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend to use this company as either a tenant or a landlord.

We just sold our property through Hodges Bentleigh and couldn't have been happier with the result. I know we weren't the easiest people to work with but the Hodges staff were very patient and guided us through the process so that we were completely comfortable. As a result, I believe we achieved a far better outcome. Thanks again!

Recently had an appraisal done on our property. The agent was detailed throughout the whole process, very understanding, not aggressive and not arrogant at all. We have had a few agents come through already but we will definitely be choosing Hodges to sell our home this year.

I would recomend this agency without hesitation. I was lucky to have Campbell Cooney as my agent, who took me through the process with kindness, and a thoroughness which made a potentially difficult experience much easier. We got a very satisfactory price for the house, so once again, if you want a good result, you should definitely hire the best.... Hodges Bentley.
