GO ELSE WHEREHighly overpriced, little to no service assistance when required, will remotely lock out machine and or machine applications to then blame it on service requirements and call out fees to boost their own business and extremely slow to act upon service requests. When it’s time for new toner to be supplied as a part of existing service agreements, surprise surprise said agreements are mysteriously expired needless to say invoices for these agreements are received only days earlier. When questioned about this they are quick to say that Toner must be purchased from them then they will enter into a new service agreement to supply toner and required disposables moving forward. When later price checked said toner from Ryrie Office Machines is sold at nearly twice standard retail price.Complete scam and should be given a wide berth.It’s time for these crooks to be called out for what they are.IN DIRECT REPLY TO RYRIE OFFICE MACHINES RESPONSE -So you’re now in damage control in an attempt to save face.To keep the facts clear, you were fully informed 2 years ago about the business challenges we were experiencing with one of the businesses which was unfortunately out of our control and to which we were and still are working to rectify, the business is not in and has not been liquidated at all and there was no other business that just popped up. We don’t run shame organisations. The “new company” you refer to had been in operation for a number of years prior so please stick to the truth.Now the interesting facts are that you choose to keep the service agreement in place fully aware of the situation some 2 years ago with all business interests and not only that your sales rep had been in discussion in regards to upgrading machines and supplying new machines to our new offices and other businesses during this period.Our payments are in distinct reflection of the level of service we have received and speaking to other long standing Geelong businesses seems to be run of the mill for Ryrie Office Machines. As you are aware, we notified your shop back in late October/early November 2019 and you advised that you could see through your remote monitoring through our service agreement that we were in need of all toners and we were told that these would be dispatched for delivery. At the time our accounts were fully up to date. These new toners never arrived and we had been told there was a delay on delivery which we accepted at the time. Fast forward now some 4-5 months with the same number of invoices received and paid for this mysterious service agreement and you now “revoke” it along with charging an offensive amount for new toner let alone the fact that not 2 hours earlier we were told that the service agreement was ongoing and we would have new toner ready to be picked up that afternoon.Consumer Affairs have also been extremely interested in hearing about your process of remotely accessing machines and locking out and/or changing settings to benefit Ryrie Office Machines. Our IT consultants can and will attest to your process and activities when required to in consultation with “CSV”.To be clear, you offered a new service agreement only after we bought and paid for the new toner.We will find solace thank you and many savings by going elsewhere, so will many others when they discover the gauging that Ryrie Office Machines undertakes.Thanks for your reply.
