The staff were all very friendly and the service was great.All of the food was delicious except for one dish, an entrée which wasn't. It was the Pudalangai Pidithan which was disappointing; dumplings but they weren't soft and tasty, they were hard little lumps with very little taste.By the end of our meal, this was the only small complaint as everything else was delicious!The basmati lemon rice was fluffy, the chicken tender and moist, the eggplant silky and the other entrée, Kerala chicken, was perfect.

I rang them2 hours before we were there.. they told me that they didn’t have any tables free … but by the time i was there there was at least 6 tables free there.. I waited there for about an hours to see if they had any reservations for the next hour… but no….. nobody went in or out in an hour…I have worked in Indian restaurant …. Itz just that the staff didn’t want to take customers who have booked beforehand.That is alright…But, if the owner is OK WITH IT, they should have the common decency to say that they can’t have customers who didn’t book the table at least a day ago.AT LEAST THE GUYS SHOULD ADVERTISE THAT THEY DONT SERVE WHO DONT RESERVE A TABLE..they made us drive an hour from the motorway to their place by NOT STATING THEY DO NOT ACCEPT orders without reservation.To ownerPlease take it into considerationAlwin

Delicious Indian food! Really enjoyed dinner with friends at this authentic Indian restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and our primary server, Hamza, was just delightful.

Wonderful independent Indian restaurant in Curtain. Seasonal menu curated by family of chefs. Veg and non-veg options.For some reason the landlord is crazy enough to close the lease so go before they have to move to new location at Gold Creek village.

This restaurant had the worst service I have ever experienced in my 24 years living upon this planet.I arrived with my mother at around 6:20 PM, we didn't make a booking. The restaurant was empty at this time, save for one other table of two (that soon became a large, boisterous table of six). While asking for a table, while being brought to our table, while ordering drinks, the sole waiter did not offer a smile. He also had an extremely obvious sweaty body odour. I know how judgemental this sounds, I know. But: the smell was so strong that it made me lose my appetite... I also don't expect fine dining" service at every restaurant. Sometimes you just want a nice meal

I loved the restaurant the moment I walked it. The menu was so unique as it's updated every month or so. Had the biryani and a lamb curry, was absolutely amazing! I'd say it's worth the money, would 100% visit again. Also, Loved the hospitality and the chef.

It is an Indian restaurant with a good ambience. The service was good and the staff was friendly.We ordered a three cocktails and mango lassi in the drinks.The cocktails were really good and refreshing. The mango lassi was good too.Ordered the Koldil Lagot Kukura as an entree whiich is an Assamese chicken delicacy. It was well cooked and flavoursome. Although I have not previously tasted this dish, it was good.For the mains, we ordred kerala porotta, biriyani and homestyle dal meat. The malabar porotta was disappointing. It was not a malabar porotta or the Kerala porotta you authentically get. It did not taste great either.The biriyani was okay. The rice was well cooked but the meat could have had a little bit more flavour. The raita along with the biriyani was perfect. Really refreshing and delicious.The homestyle dal meat was okay too. Felt there was a bit too much masala in it.

This was my first visit to Daana, overall it was a disappointing experience. If you are interested in the details, read on...We were welcomed by courteous staff, the ambience was average for an award winning restaurant.With limited dishes in the menu for each course - the expectation was set high.We ordered a few entrees, chicken and lamb cutlets was decent. From then on it was complete downhill. The fish pollichathu was disappointing, the spice/masals mix was similar to the chicken. The choice of fish for this dish wasn't great either.For mains, we ordered coconut Prawn, Chicken Biryani and Parotta. The balance of the prawn dish was completely off, lack of prawn richness and its infusion in the curry; the biryani was very average.I did mention while reserving, the occasion was a Birthday - why capture if you are not making it special. I would be hard pressed to visit again - good luck!

Using Australian indigenous ingredients in many dishes and the wonderful harmony of flavours and tastes expand in the mouth. Particularly, starters and desserts we had was beautifully presented, and each element on the plates delicately made.We had great time and experience in this restaurant.
