This was amazing. Every photo is like it's photoshopped - Uluru is that good and this location is so perfect for sunset. Highly recommended.

Get at least 1 hour earlier than sunset, slim picking for a space. No on street space. Ranger will move you on.Was a beautiful view indeed as the sun leaves the area and sky changes colour.

Good location for photos. But no sunset light as there were clouds when we went there. You need to hire a car to get there as it is in the National Park.

After cycling around Uluru (which you should do!), we stopped in here just before sunset. There were a lot of people parked here ready to take photos, there is lots of parking for this very reason though. If you're visiting Uluru, you've got to get that sunset photo, right?

Easy to get to from Yulara village, with plenty of parking available... then u can either sit in your car, or set up a picnic and enjoy the sunset. The clearer a day/ night you choose, the better!

Great place to see the different moods of Uluru at sunset. Yes it does get busy but plenty of parking in the area, and great vantage points along the fence. Take camping chairs, few nibbles and drinks, then settle in and experience the magic. The changing colours are amazing to see. The tour bus area is separate and this is only for private cars etc.

We get in early to get the great viewing spot. Get to see the Uluru changed colour in different shade in different time.Apparently the spot at the end of the carpark is the best.

Just a stunning place to sit and reflect on the majestic rock. We took chairs and nibblies and spent a couple of hours just watching the changing faces of Uluru. Come early for your pick of a great vantage spot.

The ever-changing coloured faces of Uluru at Sunset! The Uluru Sunset Viewing Area has a carpark and a short walk to the viewing area. There is also a lookout that is a gradual climb of approximately 10-15 minutes walk. It is well worth the effort as the view is just spectacular! Don’t miss it!
