Belmont Palms Motel

Disappointed that we were quoted one price and charged more. Rooms are neat, but ours had some problems...cobwebs, broken shower handles, bathroom door locked from the outside, faulty light switch, beds not overly comfortable and noisy aircon. Friendly staff, but can't get past the price issue.

The room was unclean the quilt was not clean the sheets weren’t clean didn’t use the shower as it looked like it was cleaned a month ago no smoke alarms fridge not working no one on reception no one to check in or out the worst experience I’ve had I had lost my home due to a weather event and had to get emergency accommodation it was a all round horrible experience

Sadly, not great ... room wasn't that clean and was tiny! Complimentary incidentals - forget it - not even sufficient cutlery (not that there was anywhere for 3 people to sit and eat in the room) ... or cups for number of person/s on the booking! I just can't recommend this property!

We are in room number 6 and it was the incidentals that made it underwhelming.Our toilet is not working and we told Ann. We have the leave the water running on turn it off at the wall. The light to toilet is on the wrong side of wall. The bed is very saggy. The batteries in tv and AC are dead, so unable to really watch anything and have to leave AC on 18 with windows open.The pool is good. The parking is very right. The parking lot is a safety nightmare riddles with potholes and not paved.I had an experience at the other motor inn, Lakeview which advertised a pool and it was complete shut (and still is)It's not worth more than $100 per night.

Cheap and cheerful. Ok for overnight stay, looks like they're doing some upgrades which is needed. Room was clean, parking infront of room. Pool was clean but not heated so definitely refreshing. Blockout blind would be a good addition as the outside lights were on all night. Overall good for price point

We were supposed to check-in late and the staff made sure we were provided secure coded locks from where we could get our rooms keys easily. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.Parking in front of your room is a big bonus as I could get my luggage easily to my room.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting newcastle.

Clean & comfortable room. Friendly & accommodating staff. Pool area looked fabulous...pity we stayed in winter...but would be perfect in warmer months. Room has all basic necessities.

Wonderful stay at the motel, lovely staff and the room was nice and tidy. Kids enjoyed the pool. The pub next to the motel was icing on the cake.highly recommended. Will definitely visit again
