Great place for a dip if close to the city... I mean, it doesn't hold up to the beautiful beaches Sydney offers...But was good to see

Water is very refreshing on a hot summers day and glad they’ve made is safe for swimming as it’s in an absolutely majestic location overlooking the Harbour Bridge. However the rocks are really slippery to the point it’s almost a health hazard! Also I found the water a bit too salty like constantly tasting oysters!

I do a morning walk from the darling harbour to the Barangaroo and found this beautiful spot. The views are surreal, full of sun in the morning.Such clever ideas to make it so people can swim and chill here. The rocks are beautiful and clean.Amazing spot for you guys who just wanna chill or even swim in the sea but safely (there’s a net to limit your swim to the open sea like a safe border)

finally a swim spot for the city! little bit slippery and if you need your water to be sparkling clean i would go out to a beach! plenty of rocks to sit and tan during low tide and plenty of people stopping for a quick dipwish there was a safety rail the older swimmers could use to hold on too when exiting/entering water

Reef shoes - highly recommended! Its a beautiful spot to swim near city, though rocks can be a bit slippery and most of them are sharp. I saw multiple ppl having small wounds and also got one, not sure how.Can get pretty packed on hot days but has nice gardens around for picnic.

Sick of the city heat and don't want to go to a crowded beach, come down to Marrinawi Cove. Plenty of space to sit and some shaded areas. A short walk to get some food and drinks or just bring your own. The water was so refreshing and you can tick swimming in Sydney Harbour off your bucket list.

In one visit this became my favourite local swim spot! The views are insane, the sun exposure is awesome late into the day and with the nets, it’s safe. There’s a fresh water shower, toilets, and plenty of space to layout and hang with friends.

This almost surreal spot attracts the crowds, including families, lunchtime office workers, bikini slayers, young seniors, and Barangaroo walkers who accidentally stumble upon this gem. While there is a shark net, there is plenty of ocean life to snorkle - around. Just today we saw an octopus, and what looked to be a scorpion fish at the far end of the cove. We ajust gave them extra room. No touching. All good. Like most ocean pools, we ran into the occasional jellyfish, but these were harmless. Still, check the water, and know your local jellyfish. Some of the stone boulders have oyster shell remnants, so just pick your spot to enter/exit the water, specially with little ones. There are toilet facilities and an outdoor (cold water) shower. At this point, there's no lifeguard. Just be aware of this, as the middle of the cove is deep. Also check water depth before jumping from the end of the cove as this varies (3 meter at midday). You can find shady spots, but again, these are popular. Also, no accessible water entry via wheelchair.On-street metered parking (peak hour) is approximately $6.60/hour (Jan 2023, coins and card tap available). Parking officers are ready to pounce, so keep an eye on time if parked close by.Enjoy this gorgeous cove for the perfect outdoor city swim, a lazy snooze on one of the boulders or the grass, or even a picnic with boat watching.Happy travels!#Scone score = 0/5. Too busy splashing around. However, if peckish, you can walk to Walsh Bay eateries.

Sydney’s new harbour pool! Amazing opportunity to swim in the harbour only a short walk from the CBD. Already a very popular place on hot Sydney weekends like in this picture. Some people jumping off the cement wall into the water.

Marrinawi Cove is a beautiful spot. It is quite small though and the rocks are slippery so be careful especially those with children. I love how easy it is to go there; a quick train ride from home and a beautiful walk. You can also find a wonderful picnic spot.
