Called a few days ago to make a purchase as they have some pretty good prices online. The lady who answered the phone probably showed the worst customer service I've experienced with little to no interest in selling me anything.She answered with a brief hello, I explained what I was after and she was so inexperienced in her job. Didn't even know what a basic measurement or how to look up the item without a SKU number.She was then to lazy to prolong to phone call and backorder me something and said to just email what I need. Usually it's the opposite and you fulfill the order over the phone. Not by email.Get this lady booked into some customer care courses and maybe some happy grass.

Appalling communication and customer service. Detailed in an email what I wanted quoted and had to follow 3 times to get a quote on the correct items. Paid for materials with no confirmation of order or a receipt and no communication on delivery timeframe. When I regularly emailed for updates I was sent either a blank email or the invoice I had already paid. After phoning I was advised the order would be followed up and a time for delivery would be arranged with me. Delivery driver just showed up and I had to assist in unloading very heavy materials. Scraps of wood, plastic and cardboard were left in our driveway and carport. Products appear to be ok, but will have to confirm with a builder. Disappointment and frustration at every turn. Will never use AGNEW again!

Extremely BAD at warranty claims and keeping customers up to date with a claim made. Although price may have been slightly cheaper, cost me more in the long run. I ordered a metal door frame which turned rusty within two weeks as it had some sort of chemical spilt on it either during delivery or while sitting at the warehouse. No apology, no support and certainly no refund or replacement and absolutely no communication.

I bought Modwood from Agnew via online. Very good price and reasonable delivery fee to Sydney too. Order Monday night and get deliver to my house on Wednesday Morning. Five stars from me. Thanks.

Couldn't leave a minus star. Ordered aggy pipe on the 25/10/2022. They had it in stock. Paid over the phone. Big mistake. It was going to be delivered on the 27 0r 28 of October. Called the on the 29/10 and left a message. No returned call. I called at other times wanting to know about my order. Calls are never returned. Now its 05/11/2022. Called again and as always left a message. I don't know who is leaving these so called good reviewa.I will now take this to e ACCC.

I was nervous after reading all the reviews, as I couldn't find stock anywhere for the hume 2340x1200 sliding cavity door.They were also competitive in pricing.I ordered Friday at midnight and my delivery arrived Monday at 1pm in Sydney.I'm very happy and impressed with service and delivery time frame. Will definitely be using again.

My experience placing an order with Agnew was easy and quick! I contacted them through the online form on their website to ensure I can get the timber delivered in time for my project. The staff was quick and helpful with their response. She provided a quote including shipping within minutes. Placing the order was easy. I just need to make the payment. Delivery was quick too! I’m located in Canberra. I placed the order on a Friday and the timber was delivered on Monday. I’m impressed! I definitely will buy from them again because delivery cost is reasonable and their product prices are competitive. (I wouldn’t name which supplier but you can probably guess it) Agnew is cheaper than the mainstream supplier I go to. I’ve already told a few people who are renovating their house about Agnew. Highly recommend you give Agnew a try!

I purchased a few internal doors from Agnew and they were a much better price than other suppliers. The customer service was great and delivery was very reasonable and within a pretty fast timeframe. Would highly recommend and purchase from again.

I purchased items via Agnew's website that were marked as 'in stock' and selected my delivery date. I had to call to check where my items were as nothing had arrived - I was told someone from the warehouse would call me back. I then received a notification an hour later refunding my money with no explanation. Upon further investigation it seems the items were not actually in stock - however - the website is still allowing purchases on this item. There was no communication either way and now there are program implications for our build.
