Grand old Federation house, leadlights and pollished timber floors but also warm for winter.Great city location, reasonable rates include continental breakfast.Friendly host & some parking on site Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a night and it was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, clean and a good price. The shared bathroom was nice as well, the only downside is that there's only 1 bathroom on the top floor, which is unfortunately in the same room as the shower. The manager was extremely helpful and accommodating, providing for an after-hours check-in with no trouble.

Where to begin. DO NOT BOOK!! One of the worst booking experiences my partner and I have ever had. Booked 2 months in advance through HotelsCombined. The night before I called to try and get early check-in however the number provided connected me to a random man who had no affiliation at all with the accommodation. I then tried to email them, to which the email bounced back immediately. As we saw the place had good reviews and recent ones we thought to go anyway. We arrived at 1:50pm for a 2pm check-in to find the front door locked, with no one in sight. No answer despite knocking several times and ringing the doorbell. As we had to be somewhere at 2:30pm, we unfortunately could not wait around forever, and with no way to contact the accommodation we had to take all our stuff back to our car and abandon our stay there. To this day, we have not had any contact regarding our booking or stay, and have no way of contacting them. Zero customer service and zero reliability. Very doubtful whether this place even exists as a hotel anymore, and if it does I am shocked to see them have more than a 1 star rating on google.

Stayed for one night while attending a nearby concert. Great location near the city centre. Not much parking onsite (Only about 4 spots before double parking needs to occur) but wasn't an issue for my stay but there is free un-timed parking in off peak times on the street. The historic building is well maintained, although has very little noise insulation (can hear alarm clocks from other rooms and people talking in the hallway). There are shared bathrooms for most rooms so keep that in mind also, along with a communal kitchen, dining room and laundry.

Great location, large rooms with views, very accommodating host. Some noise issues on Saturday nights, price of location I guess. Shared bathrooms okay, wi-fi would be a great addition.

Good location, lovely old historical home, comfortable bed, would be good to have a face washer with our linen I had to go shopping to buy one. Also a jug of cold water in the fridge in the breakfast room would have been good.
