G.P. Nichols Dental West End

A great big 'THANK YOU' to Dr Nichols and staff for an absolutely brilliant and pain free visit to the dentist. George's caring manner and professionalism make all the difference to this once very scary experience. His new premises have a very calming effect on you as soon as you enter through the front door. Another huge plus is there is always a parking spot at the rear of the surgery and it's free. Congratulations!!!

Absolutely fantastic dental clinic. Old fashioned service and expertise right in the urban center! Pretty much the best dentist you can find in Brisbane. The experienced hands of Dr. Nichols makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I saw half a dozen dentists for wisdom teeth extraction who all seemed unsure and unconfident. Dr. Nichols saw the X-Ray, assessed on the spot, explained everything and pulled all 4 wisdom teeth out in 5 minutes in the chair after 7 minutes of anesthesia. Out of pocket expense- Negligible. Cherry on the top- Very affordable as well!Would highly recommend!

First time at this dentist and overall was not a pleasant experience. I was booked in for a check up and clean at 11:15 and did not see Dr. Nichols until 12:15. He had an emergency, which is understandable, but I wasn't told about this until 40 minutes into the wait and was already sitting in the chair. The actual check up with Dr. Nichols was very rushed, he dropped tools on the ground and water on my face at one point. The check up only lasted 10-15 minutes where he did the bare minimum. He was also very rough and when I was in audible discomfort continued to be very rough. I think this would be unpleasant if you have anxiety about going to the dentist. In comparison to my previous experiences, I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. Only plus is that there was no gap with my private health.

My wife has had George as her dentist since childhood, he is the only dentist she has ever visited. She got me to visit him over 20 years ago and I would never go anywhere else. George is a friend as well as an absolutely proficient and professional dentist, I would highly recommend him to anyone. Zoe at reception has also always been friendly, helpful and efficient.

I have travelled from Toowoomba to Brisbane and now Sunshine Coast to West End to have George as my dentist for over 20 years. I would NEVER go to another dentist. He is a gift from God.

Best dentists in Brisbane! I have been seeing Dr Nichols for years and recently saw Nazli. I had mixed up my dates and arrived for my appointment a week early; the receptionist and Nazli fitted me in anyway and worked past closing time which they didn’t have to do as I made the mistake. Thank you so much!

Top service. Have faith that Dr. George Nichols and his team will do an excellent job for you at a very reasonable price. You can't ask for better frankly... Very happy to recommend.

receptionist were rude.. (some greek lady who thought she was top s**t) also dentist screwed up a filling that i did optionally as he suggested it would be good to get it done (it wasnt nichols, some younger guy with grey/white hair) , had to go back and get it fixed, still gives me pain time to time. this dentist is not worth going to.
