Origin Five | Event Staff Hire - Bartenders, Wait Staff, Baristas

Summary -Poor service on the night, unresponsive after initial deposit received, changed the name of their company (from Easy Bar to Origin Five) without telling us or providing new contact details - save yourself the time and headache, go with someone else.Detailed review -Booked this company at the beginning of 2022 for a Dec 2022 wedding for a 180 person wedding.At that time the company was called Easy Bar (see earlier reviews and Instagram photos). After the initial deposit was received the company completely stopped communicating with us. They even changed names, e-mails, and phone numbers and didn't even do the courtesy of telling us - we were convinced we had been scammed of our 30% deposit. Our wedding coordinator had to track them down. That should have been some serious red flags but we continued with (now) Origin Five and Jack as we had paid our deposit.In the months leading up to the wedding they didn't respond to our e-mails or pick up our calls to confirm and organise the service for the wedding.One thing the company did do when we were finally able to contact them was be willing to amend the contract when our staffing needs changed.On the night, as the company had not arranged a site visit ahead of time the barstaff took time to figure out where basic equipment was (eg. cocktail shakers) and when service first started were not yet ready to serve some drinks and were unsure on what drinks were available to guests. We understand the barstaff got better as the night went on but it was just not worth it in the slightest.Just grateful they turned up on the night.

We used Easy Bar for a corporate event. Jack and the crew (Nick & Josh) added heaps of value. Friendly people, great service and all the drinks we needed! Made having alcohol at the event a breeze and took the stress away! Thank you again!!

Words cannot explain how incredibly well Easy Bar was received at my event by my friends and family. Not only is Jack professional, kind and prompt, he and his colleague Kayla both know their way around a cocktail or two!Thanks so much again for delivering such an excellent open bar at my 21st!We can’t wait to use this company again.I’m sorry to say it Jack, but you’ll be hearing from my family and I for years to come!!!!

I booked my event with this company in 2021 unfortunately at the time my event was cancelled due to Covid. After numerous emails and phone calls someone finally got back to me. I have now been told that my $650 credit can no longer be used as its over 365 days. I have also been told that if I had booked my event within the 365 days I would need to pay $150 rescheduling fee. This is an absolute joke! cancelling my event was out of my control and at the time these conditions were not advised to me. I would not recommend this company at all.

Jack and his team were fabulous and I would highly recommend their services for your next event. Their professional service and great attitude make working with them so easy. They were happy to assist with every request that I made which then eased some of the pressure off of me as the host of our event. I will definitely be using Easy Bar again for all my future events.

Easy Bar brought a real expert touch of class to our corporate event. The night went far better than expected when the Easy Bar guys arrived, set up and helped us get our event rolling. Jack and the team really made our birthday event one to remember. The drinks were made with efficiency and The presentation was at the standard I expected. A friendly team with plenty of smiles and good conversation. Can’t wait to book these guys in again...

I am so so glad I went through Easy Bar. I hired two waitstaff for my wedding and they were just amazing, worth every cent. Jake and Jonathan were both very polite, attentive, and professional. They made everything so seamless and went above and beyond to ensure the guests were well looked after. I had many comments from the guests about how great they were. I really appreciated everything they did.

Easy Bar are awesome!! We used Easy Bar for our wedding and they were fantastic from start to finish. Their bartenders were professional, well presented and friendly and dealing with Jack to organise the whole event was super easy. I highly recommend Easy Bar for any event or occasion.
