I am 75 years of age. I have been visiting this dental practice once every 6 months for the past 22 years. The condition of my gums improved impressively in the first year. Since then my teeth became firm in my gums so that I still possess" all of the teeth that I had all those ago. This is what I was promised

Natalie has been my Dental Hygienist from back with Dr. Jane McCarthy. If anyone is going to make you feel like they deserve your trust - Natalie is for you! (oh - I'm a phobic). Dr. Samy is fantastic, very approachable and all front staff know their stuff and will go extra miles to help out xx

I was very nervous and worried about having surgery and the costs. The staff and doctor Samy Francis made me feel respected, comfortable and took away all my fears. My surgery lasted 3.5 hours. I had zero pain. The entire stafff have been wonderful. I highly recommend them if you need gum surgery.

I was referred to Dr Samy Francis by my dentist to treat receding gums. Dr Samy and his team of reception staff and therapists have all been amazing. I had gum graft surgery for 6 teeth nearly 3 weeks ago, and during my first appointment Dr Samy explained the whole process very clearly and answered all of my questions. Chris and Kelly were bright and welcoming, and the therapists were brilliant during the pre surgery appointments. The actual procedure was painless (highly recommend IV sedation). Dr Samy makes himself available by phone after hours; very reassuring after surgery. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Samy and his team!

Outstanding service all round.... from the initial arrangement of the booking, including the scheduling information provided by the assistant for X-rays prior, to the actual procedure conducted by the specialist and his assistant was faultless. Highly recommended service.

My experience at The Periodontist was exceptional. The reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. All the periodontists and nurses made me feel very comfortable and cared for. Dr Sami was extremely thorough and his passion for gum health is very apparent. While the treatment I received was fairly intense, I feel Dr Sami is passionate about giving his patients the most least intrusive methods possible.

My previous periodontics' clinic finished and closed in December 2021, but was given about three names of periodontists to choose from to take care of my teeth and gums. I chose Dr Samy Francis in Applecross. My first appointment to see him was in February 2022. He was thorough and he explained to me about having periodontal flap surgery and debridement. I have been seeing different periodontists for a number of years but had never heard of this procedure. After reading all the information, I was a little scared and worried to go ahead with it. You can have the procedure in the chair in his rooms or go under in hospital. I even went to see my dentist and talk to him about it, and he said to go ahead with it. So being scared I chose to go under in hospital in June. I have had the procedure and I can say I was pleasantly surprised how everything went and felt fine when I woke up. I had to take medication and mouth wash right up until I saw Dr Francis (30/6). I was also prescribed pain killers which I did not even have to take, and would recommend to go ahead with the procedure if you are advised to. The procedure went well, and Dr Francis and myself are happy with it all. I hope this information will help you to make your decision.

Going to see the Periodontist was daunting and never easy for me, but my decision to use The Periodontists was a good one. I was made to feel at ease with Dr Samy and his team from Reception to treatment, the staff have been accommodating and welcoming. My Gum health was poor and deteriorating, Dr Samy discussed my options, clearly and concisely, as a result, I decided to proceed with gum/flap surgery, i can honestly say I had wished I had undertaken the treatment earlier, its made a huge difference to my health, mental wellbeing and confidence. Dr Samy was a thorough professional, made me at ease and confident to proceed, his before and after surgery care was excellent, I would not use anyone else for my periodontal health care going forward , thank you Dr Samy and team.
