Thornlie Square Medical Centre

Moved to this medical centre when we moved to the area a few months back. All the doctors and nurse we have seen have been amazing. Really friendly, don't over book, great at dealing with babies and young kids and really show they care. It's easy to get an appointment and they don't just hand out antibiotics for every little thing like some doctors like to do.

Went to the clinic to have a slight cough checked out my daughter picked up.. we were put in a separate “isolation” waiting room due to this which had no ventilation, no extraction fan and hot as hell.. after 45min of waiting, the doctor said its nothing to worry about.. now both my children are sick and barely sleeping.. why would they stuff kids in a room for this long even though we had them tested for covid prior to the visit…?This room is a breeding ground for illnesses and thanks to that we now sit with two very sick childen.

This Clinic only after Money. Doesn’t have any care towards their patients. We have booked Dr Su for my pregnant wife. After confirming that we are coming, they have allocated our spot to another patient just because we ran 10min late due to my wife start vomiting on her way to the clinic. Regardless her condition, this clinic didn’t have any curtesy to serving us at all. Because they prioritise money over their patients. Do not recommend this place at all. Don’t expect good doctor patient relation out of these guys.

I have had one really good doctor here and one terrible one. It annoys me that no matter how much detail you put into your online booking you still get told to come back another time because your appointment required something specific or you spend the entire time explaining the same thing time and again. I fee like I have to lead one of the doctors there through the entire process and basically do the job for them. I go to the doctors for help, not to be messed around

While waiting for my turn, I am watching a video on how tooth extraction rates amongst toddler is the highest in Australia. My turn comes and I walk with my toddler into the room and lo and behold, a lolly gets offered to my toddler. Now isn't that ironic? and no thank you, PLEASE DON'T offer lollies to our children without ASKING us parents permission.

This is not better place get an any medical help. I got 15min late on my appointment time due to pregnancy morning sick. When I came and ask would it be possible see doctor anytime during the day. But because of I got late they got walking patients and get rid of me. When I asked is there any other appointments even next day. but they don’t have any until next 4 days. I requested my blood report due I’m pregnant and go for another GP. But they don’t give reports unless other GP’s request form. I don’t know how ridiculous on that system even if a patient need to be have reports for immediate action. I don’t recommend this place.. Dr Su Devathi and staff are only caring about money not the patients’ situation. All other days Dr didn’t took me on appointment times, she took at least 1/2 hour to take me to check up. I only got late because of sickness. Because of that they refused to look the patient. So it clearly reflects how they are caring about their patients.

Waited 25mins past my scheduled appointment time for Dr Su. She is anti breastfeeding when I said I'm still breastfeeding my 18mth old. She prescribed me medicine to stop my supply. Never felt so judged. She said there is no benefit to breastfeeding and WHO is wrong to recommend breastfeeding up to 2 years old.Avoid this clinic at all cost.

Great place had my ears cleaned out from build up of wax. The nurse was excellant & removed the stubborn wax carefully & safely ., Thank you can recommend this medical centre.

I like going to Thornlie Square Medical Centre.It's not far from where I live.The staff are friendly.Dr Su is lovely and knowledgeable

They have managed to make a 2.10pm appointment for my partner at midday and then be 1 hour late for the same appointment. On top of that, the receptionist and the GP would hysterically bounce the responsibility for this ridiculous situation each other.A compete disaster, and not the first. Only a pandemic and the consequent workers shortage could turn such unreliable workers in necessary staff
