GIO Insurance

I had a very bad experience with GIO insurance which is one of The most discredited insurance company I saw in my life.I finished my policy term for one year they still take money from my account at different amounts.when I talk with them they said we can’t refund the moneys.When I finish with them and don’t have a more contract why take money from my account?On other time I had a claim with they didn’t fixed my car properly when I contact them they just hold me on line for one hour each time with end nothing

Not Happy with their service even though my policy was canceled they took money out of my account. I had to call a few times to get the refund back still I haven't received my money back. Shame on GIO.

Completely Rip-Off.I was paying $78 for an insurance , it was auto renewed to $100.59 then $138.10 and jump to $196. They said due to inflation !!!Common ???

GIO are so reliable and fast. I appreciate all the work they're doing. Hold times a bit long but end results always end up great.

Minus 10. 40 min wait to speak....and trying to tell me 8 weeks to get a police report about an accident....dream on

My caravan insurance premium has risen 42% from $661 to $940 in two years. In the same time the insured value has fallen 8% from $48,000 to $44300. I have had no accidents and made no claims. My risk has not changed.This is blatant price gouging. A complaint to the Insurance Industry Ombudsman will be made.

Be very very cautious!Consultant's are not clear on conditions.Compare what they say and what is actually stated in policy.I was lucky that our business had claims during renewal period.Try CGU, I saved $298 on same cover.

I had an experience where my car was damaged while parked, the other driver was also with GIO, he then put in a claim and the service from GIO was outstanding! They organised a rental car at their expense and my car was repaired within the time frame as promised with a flawless repair.

We have car, home and contents and landlord insurance with GIO. I am very happy with their service, prompt and professional. I had four accidents during the last three years, all of them not my fault. Two of the offenders didn’t have insurance, However, GIO got my car repaired within a reasonable time and also provided me with a hire car. We also had our investment property damaged by the tenants and left with rent in arrears. Through landlord insurance, GIO paid for the loss of rent, eligible repairs, replacement of locks etc. The case officer and the assessor were very professional and helpful. We are happy that we have insurance with GIO as some time ago we had car insurance with Woolworth’s insurance and it was an absolute nightmare. They tried their best not to pay the insurance claim. Only after I made a formal complaint, they made the settlement.
