I needed a cable to separate a Xvive wireless transmitter on my bass from an onboard Sadowsky active preamp that created noisey RF interference. I couldn't find the cable I needed (1/4 inch jack male to 1/4 inch jack female) online anywhere. I found Cablesmiths online and made a web page enquiry on a Saturday afternoon only to be surprised with positive response by email later that afternoon. With details confirmed, I placed an order and had the cable within a week. The tentative solution worked like a charm! I now have a noise free cost effective wireless setup and don't loose any of the great sounds from the Sadowsky active setup. Thanks to Brian for a great outcome. I contacted Brian regarding an unusual XLR cable requirement (5pin F to 3 pin M), to be used with my Blue Yeti Pro mic and Scarlett Solo interface and replacing the unwieldy Y splitter than came with the mic.After a bit of discussion I placed an order to have the cable made using quality parts, and within a few days the job was done and in my hand and looking very nice indeed.I've only briefly tested it recording audio (it's for a podcast) but the sound was great and from the outside at least the quality of the final product was excellent.Very happy with Brian's assistance in the first instance and then for providing such a lovely service. Had a custom cable made for my Peavey 6505+ for switching channels with a trigger pedal. Works a treat!

I ordered some custom length Mogami XLR interconnects for my hifi system. Could have made them myself but Cablesmiths was way more convenient than buying all the bits when I haven't got rolls of cable laying around. The price was very fair as well. Overall very happy with the purchase and should I need some more cables down the road I'll likely order again.
