Food took 45+ minutes to be served. When it was the steak was overcooked and the potatos not masked properly. I used the bar tender how long was the food going to take after 35mibs and was told wouldn't have a clue". Clearly not helpful."

We stayed 2 nights. Room was dirty, dusty. Big pots just outside doors filled with cigarette butts. Bathroom mouldy, not to clean. Dirty walls. Blind’s really dusty. We had to buy toilet paper, as wouldn’t have been 5mm left on the roll. No extra left in the room.Due to the room not being to clean we did not attempt eating there. So I can’t comment on the food.Would only recommend as last resort.

After shopping next door at the IGA I needed to go to the toilet. Since the pub is right next door I decided to pop in there. I have never been in there before so I asked the woman behind the bar where the toilets are. I was told there are public toilets down the road. Can't I just use your toilet?? Are you buying a drink??? I was astounded!!! WOW I will never buy a drink here or anything else I replied as I walked out the door. Unbelievable is all I can say!!!!

There is a good reason why this place is not busy compared to the other one in the town. The staff are very unfriendly. We were disappointed coming to this bar for a beer. It seems even locals don't like to come here for meals or drink.

Best country pub I've been in for many years. The staff are the friendliest family you could meet. Food is great, beer very cold. The other pub is too much of a city pub, and thats not what a country town needs. They even have entertainment here and there, including karaoke.

On holidays, went into the pub for a beer and lunch but had use their amenities first. When we asked the barmaidwhere are their toilets,she said,we don't have any, the public toilets are down the end of the roadShe pointed in that direction.We walked out , walked in the direction she told us and found the second pub in town,the ROYAL HOTELwho were more than happy to let us use their toilets.Staff were super friendly there and the food was great hearty country tucker
