Twelve Apostles

We just did 5 days here in Great Ocean Road ourselves. 2 out of 5 days we had the best weather, which was blue sky and sunny and no wind. This 12 apostles, 5 left now, the best time to visit is before 11am.. the sunrise is magic!! This spot is the most popular one and early rise to visit you get the whole things to yourself aka no crowds.There is Information Centre on the premises, toilets and plenty of parkings.

Be prepared for lots of tourists if you visit in the afternoon. The views are breathtaking, definitely one of the most iconic spots in Victoria. The cafe and shop has limited souvenir and drink options, so plan your food ahead of time.

The scenic drive via great ocean road was just amazing .Plan to visit during sunset to have a great view. Ample parking is available, and it's just a short walk from car park.

Impressive.  It gets all the fame and while I don't believe it's not the best thing on the Great Ocean Road, but you have to stop here, otherwise why are you even doing the Great Ocean Road? There is good sized car park, restrooms, and cafe.  The walk to the viewing areas is pretty short and pram accessible. The Apostles are bigger in person than you think.  On a good sunny day, it's very nice sights.  It was a weekday in late fall and it was busy, so if during peak season it will probably be slammed.  Plan to spend about 1hr in total (to include bathroom breaks, casual time at viewing, and stopping in gift shop), though if on a tight schedule you can walk to the sights check it out and be back in your car in 25 mins.

One of the best lookouts of Melbourne. Totally loved the view and vibe from the top.If you are visiting Melbourne then definitely keep this place on your checklist. There are few other lookouts nearby

Being local, I am always surprised by their beauty each and every time I visit. Not once would I say I have been disappointed. Even if there are bus loads of tourists there is enough room to not feel imposed upon.Toilets are always clean. Easy enough for parking. Ample disabled parking.Just beautiful, even in the cooler months.

I wish we were there on any other day.It was so cold, windy and raining. We couldn’t enjoy the place but I an sure it would be a very nice experience otherwise.When coming from Melbourne, I suggest to drive through the ocean drive one way and go in land the other way.Best if you can plan a night stay somewhere near to this place as it gets hectic with a long drive back to Melbourne on the same day.would love to be back when the weather is better.

Great view, good vibes and good weather ( depending on individual’s travel month) was on a guided tour, so were many others! 3 hours drive from Melbourne city and free entrance

The drive down there is amazing. Looks stunning with the formations. It was not much of a hype for me to begin with so it was a good spot for a view.

Best scenic place. A helicopter ride is must which is near to this place. Out of 12 only 7 are visible. It is heavily windy place. With sun this place looks amazing.
