He was patient with us while we made our decision and continued to update us through the process. Extremely grateful for this kind of service.

Purchased used 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid from Phil Gilbert Toyota in Croydon and could not be happier! All services and log book was updated. Filled up the fuel tank. Fantastic customer service, Tika was wonderful, helpful, supportive transparent, he was happy to answer all my questions and kept me up to date while I waited for delivery. Would highly recommend.

Phil (sales) offered a great service and pleasant experience throughout the process. The letdown was the financing process, felt like everything was rushed, no clear explanation on what everything was. Promised deadlines were not kept, every phone call was another problem to solve. In the day of agreed delivery of the car, this was still not solved and settlement not completed. I understand that processes need to be followed but providing me pertinent communication works have gone a long way. If I had to do it over, I'd buy the car again but look somewhere else for the financing.

Went in today to have a look at a used car which was advertised through Carsales. The only salesman there didn’t seem that friendly or helpful. The presentation of the car was terrible. Exterior and interior was dirty, as if it wasn’t detailed and came straight from the previous owner. When I inspected the car I mentioned there were a few scratches and dents on the car and he asked me to show him exactly where they were. After showing him, he explained that they had booked someone to come in to repair the damage and that it should all be fixed. However, I wouldn’t feel comfortable committing to a purchase before ensuring that the actual repairs had in fact been done. Shouldn’t they have done this before putting the car for sale in the first place? So I’m not sure how true his statement was. I wiped my finger on the inside of the exhaust pipe outlet and the amount of thick black soot that was on my finger was shocking. For a 20k km non-diesel car costing $55k with that amount of black soot indicated to me that the car was driven fairly hard and most likely producing exhaust smoke. When I mentioned that to the salesman he just brushed it off and said that it had passed all their checks by their technicians. Luckily I knew what to look for, but if you’re not sure, I would recommend you to have an independent mechanic inspect the car for you.

Phil was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He did a walk around video for us to view and narrated it also. Based on that we paid for the car pending inspection and test drive. We looked at the car and there was a small dent in the bonnet that he'd missed but it was repaired straight away as the dent removal technician was there for another job. There was no need for a test drive as we could visually see the car a 2018 Mazda 2 with log books was immaculate. It had been detailed and had been filled with a full tank of petrol. The car drives beautifully and I'm so happy with everything. Phil looked after us and we would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you so much.

I recently purchased a car from this company, and I must say, I am disappointed with the overall experience.During the initial sales process, I was assured that the car would be detailed and that the hail damage would be fixed prior to collecting. With these assurances in mind, I eagerly awaited my new vehicle. However, much to my dismay, upon receiving the car, I discovered that neither the promised detailing nor the hail damage repair had been carried out.To add insult to injury, their proposed solution to rectify the situation was utterly inconvenient and unhelpful. I was informed that I would need to return the car to the dealer for the detailing and repairs to be done however, the dealer was located over an hour away from my location. Not only is this an immense inconvenience, but it's also completely unjustified considering that the issues were their responsibility, not mine.Proceed with caution, as it appears that their promises are empty and their commitment to customer service is lacking.

At the end of last year. In fact the last day of the working year I decided you know what I really need to upgrade my work vehicle (Toyota Hilux). So I went to Toyota Croydon and I saw a fine young man sitting there who immediately said hello and welcomed me in. I’m not one for the pushy salesman and Rahi Chhugani was relaxed and welcoming! He wasn’t the stereotypical salesman trying to upset or get a sale straight away.We went over my options and ranges of hiluxs. I currently at that time had a hilux so I was lucky enough to know the ranges well however with the quick refresher he reminded me what’s in every model of car.With some great to and from fair negotiations we reached a deal within an hour of me being meeting Rahi. I felt like I got a fair price while also being lucky enough to be Rahis second ever hilux sale.Throughout the process of wait time Rahi kept me updated with where the car is, ETA of the vehicle and if there’s was any delays. He never once tried to hide anything when there was a delay (which wasn’t his fault) and did everything he good to get the vehicle to me ASAP.On the week of me picking up my new car Rahi was really helpful organising pickup times, rego papers and making sure the car was at the dealership at the agreed time. In fact I got to pick it up 3 hours earlier then expected on the due day.Since I drove off I have messaged Rahi a few times asking what a few of the new gadgets are as I got a higher model car then what I used to drive and Rahi has always been very quick to respond.I very much recommend and happy to refer Rahi at Croydon Phil Gilbert New Cars to anyone looking to purchase. I cannot recommend him enough.Thanks for all your hard work Rahi!
