Top Hat Barber Shop
Best barber experience I've had to date. Came in on a quiet day and had Peter cut my hair. However, the entire team was invested in my haircut, listened to what I wanted, offered advice and worked as a team to find what worked best for my head. Lovely conversations, haircut was not rushed, thorough client to barber consultation to make sure we're both happy. Excellent value, will come back and take the half hour drive next time I need a cut. Exceptional stuff!

I visited Top Hat Barber Shop for the first time this morning to get a haircut. John and Alex were terrific, both the customer service and haircut were top class. Definitely recommend.

Hair cut 4/5Service 2/5They were quite rude as soon as I entered. They seemed annoyed that I interrupted their movie. It was just the two barbers watching a movie, no customersWhen I was explaining what i wanted they kept interrupting me angrily multiple times. I dont think i got a full sentence without interruptions. It wasnt a clarifying questions either just very angry.Only reason i didnt leave was my crippling social anxiety. I really wanted to leave.The hair cut was fine. It wasn't the best but wasn't bad. It was good. Kudos. I just wish i didnt get yelled at

I have been going there for the last 2-3 years. I don't have a challenging hair style, but I always find my experience really good. Both Alex and John know their work. Love the conversation but recently it's usually a bit negative. I am sure it's been a challenging time for everyone and hairdressers have been hit the hardest, but I'd love to see the pre-covid John more often. Keep up the good work. Thanks guys.

Had been searching for a good haircut for years, finally ran into this place a year and a half ago and refuse to get a haircut anywhere else. John, the proprietor, is one of the most stand-up guys around. Takes phenomenal pride in his work, can't imagine him putting out a dodgy job a day in his life. Nothing but excellent vibes, fantastic haircuts and a great chat whenever I come in. Plus great deals for uni students. Absolutely 12/10 establishment.

Such a great atmosphere. The guys are quite friendly and there’s always a great vibe in the shop. I’ve seen a few customers enter the shop awkwardly but the team there always makes them feel welcome and comfortable. *Alex* is top notch. He takes immense satisfaction in doing a perfect job and I’ve never been disappointed with his work. It’s a bit out of my way now that I’ve moved houses but I still keep going back to them!

I never leave bad comments for a barbershop because barber is more delicate compared with others but this is exception. I’ve already told the barber what kind of haircut I want, he just give me a haircut casually. It’s not a drop fade, he just mess it up and make me look awkward.

As soon as I walked through the door I felt welcome. I couldn't be happier with my haircut, dion is a consummate professional. And he let me bend his ear for half an hour. If you want a quality haircut, head to Top Hat Barbers, you won't be disappointed. The hype is real!!

Young guy was the worst barber I've ever been to. Rushed around with the electric clippers doing quick strokes trying to do a fast shave rather than a proper one. Didn't listen when I said don't cut something and just cut without a care. Avoid if possible
