As a local I have always walked past & noticed the appealing scents of the cooking in the air so when an opportunity arose to finally dine in I was not disappointed. My parents & I made a pit stop to Sugo after collecting me from the airport following a white Christmas overseas & the owner John made us feel instantly at home (perfect after 24hrs of flying). We had wine, a pizza (which was a special request to incorporate some other ingredients which he happily obliged) the baked gnocchi and some fries. It was perfect and I am looking forward to visits again soon, and highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic cuisine for lunch or dinner when you’re in the Malvern area. The service was prompt professional and so friendly, Thank you!!

A beautiful Italian restaurant ona Main Street in Malvern.The interiors of the place was so cozy n nicely lit.From the salads we had the Aregula & beetroot salad which was spot on!From the main course we had the olive oil & spinach pasta along with the char-grilled pizza while our kids enjoyed the spaghetti bolognaise.Food was great, waiters were so friendly.Definitely coming back

The chicken parma was smaller than average. The person next to us also ordered the chicken parma but the sizes were not consistent. The sauce for the duck was delicious. $5 for a single scoop of ice cream was very pricey, but was really yummy. The atmosphere was lovely but every time the door opened, we got a rush of cold breeze. Most people in the restaurant wore their jackets inside.

Food was ok and atmosphere fine. The service was weird though… we were told we’d have to leave soon and only had a two hour window to eat (which was fine). But the waiter whilst he was friendly, kept saying it every time he approached the table (at least five times). Crazy thing was there were hardly any people in the restaurant. After an hour and half he said we had to leave and he was sorry…. The place was still mostly empty. Not a great experience feeling rushed and unwelcome in the space…. Won’t be going back.

Great atmosphere with even better service! They really make you feel welcome and are very attentive to your needs.My favourite was the baked bacon gnocchi which came in a massive serving and was piping hot - perfect for a cold winter’s night. The tiramisu was tasty but could’ve had a stronger coffee flavour in my opinion.All in all, a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this restaurant for larger groups (we went with 8 people).

Cosy and charming, great food, with amazing hospitality to boot. Seafood risotto is cooked to perfection and so flavourful. The baked ricotta gnocchi is incredibly rich and hearty, but don't let that dissuade you if you're afraid of it being overwhelming. It's comfort food at its finest, boasts bold and punchy flavours, it's an absolute treat and a must try. Definitely give them a go if you're in the vicinity.

Excellent attentive service from the second we walked in the door. We were greeted with a smile and it continued throughout. Food was lovely with ample options, a perfect place for a family right through to a couple.

The service was good and my friends and wife enjoyed their meals but my grilled seafood with linguine was tasteless. I asked for chilli oil but even the chilli oil was bland.
