Action Now Hot Water & Electrical Central Coast

My fiance & I moved to the coast from Newcastle recently & weren't sure where to go for good electrical repairs outside of home, we called Action Now Hot Water after seeing many positive reviews online. Now I can vouch for Brent too - really friendly guy, & very considerate of our time & home!

Called Brent up recently on behalf of my elderly mother, who needed her hot water system replaced. Couldn't be there when he showed up which has made my mum nervous in the past as she doesn't like tradespeople in her home when she's alone. By all reports, Brent was fantastic. She said she felt really comfortable, and did the job in no time at all. Didn't leave a mess for her to run around after, and she was very relieved to just get the job done as fast as possible. Only hope everyone could have such an easy time with tradies!

The hot water system in our rental property failed in the middle of Easter. I phone Brent on Easter Saturday. He gave me options over the phone, was able to come in 30 minutes and job done. If you want cheap and nasty, dont call Brent. If you want a quality job from a reliable professional in the trade, he's the one.

Brent of Action Now Hot Water and Electrical knows how to look after his customers very well. A prompt follow up call after the initial inquiry via the website and a call when you're next on the list, are some of the ways he lets you know that you're important to his business. My irreparable hot water system was diagnosed one day and replaced the next. A true professional.

Called Action Now Hot Water expecting my gas hot water repair to be an ordeal taking up my whole day off. Just so pleased that I was quoted a fair price and had Brent out fixing the problem within one hour of initial phone call. Nice to support a small family business as well.

Never ever use Action Now Hot Water and ElectricalAfter reading these reviews I feel I need to comment on Brent Mounser and his business.Also the amount of good reviews doesn’t reflect the service Brent provides.Looking at the 35 google reviews available I found the following;19 are either Facebook friends/family of Brents or his daughter Ashleigh.7 are VERY BAD reviews9 are reviews from people that I could not definitely confirm that they were friends/family on his Facebook page.My own experience with Brent Mounser occurred a few years ago when I called Brent after my Solar Hot Water system started leaking. He advised over the phone that it was probably the Element and that it would cost approx $260 to replace. Brent arrived and decided it was indeed the element that needed replacing but he said that he always replaces the Thermostat as well at a cost of $429. So after replacing both these parts, the tank was still leaking. Brent decided to drill a hole through the front of the tank to let out the water. He advised the leaking would stop within a couple of days. It didn’t surprise, surprise. When I rang Brent again to advise it was still leaking he said I would need to replace the whole tank and he quoted me $2308 to supply and install a Rheem 400 litre electric tank. I decided to ask for a quote from another company who came to look at the tank and said the element and thermostat were never the problem and he quoted to supply and install exactly the same tank $1880. I completely resigned myself to an awful day when we woke up to no hot water, but thankfully I'd had one of Brent's magnets on the fridge for ages. Gave him a call, and he said he'd be out with a few hours to check it out, called again to say he was on his way and then showed up and explained it was a simple repair and he could do the it on the spot and had the parts in his car. I wish all repairs could be this easy.

We had a leaking hot water system and called Brent early on Monday. Job was done by the time my husband got home from work. Job was priced beforehand, and even though he ran into unforeseen problems he stuck to his original price which is unheard of amongst tradies. We'll be calling again.

UNETHICAL AND ABUSIVE - BEWARE of Brent Mounser. I made the mistake of allowing him to mislead me into agreeing to a price in a hurry on a Saturday because the supplier is closing soon" and I needed to pay immediately. After researching prices online after I've paid him

Brent did a fantastic job repairing our hot water system when it stopped working during a very cold week. Showed up same day, left no mess and made no fuss. All fixed up before anyone even had to take a cold shower!
