MAS Tax Accountants Gold Coast

I have been getting my and my husbands income tax done at MAS TAX on the Gold Coast for about 5 years. Booked an appointment to do my Tax early February (way late) using their online booking service. Had tried to call the office many times but no answer and no reply to voice message left. Decided to take the chance and turn up at the office for scheduled appointment to find office closed. Waited 30min then left voice message saying I was there and also sent email to tax agent booked in with. To her credit she did reply saying that there was a COVID issue and office had closed as a consequence which I totally understand and respect. However, I was disappointed that the service hadn’t thought to cancel the appointment prior or block out the dates on their online booking system if they were closed. I did email and send reply text message but 2 weeks later still waiting for a reply and appointment. I contacted their main office number and they suggested I email again to see about scheduling a future appointment with the tax agent which I did (I haven’t had a reply 2 weeks later). I am usually a loyal customer but it just feels very unprofessional and scared to book another appointment online without being able to follow up via phone to confirm that someone will be there to process my income tax. Just feeling disappointed.

Lots of people complaining about the phone not being answered but I just called them now and got answered straight away as when I booked in. I also got put thru to Liane with a query and although I hadn’t paid her yet she had lodged my return already. Never had any problems in the 10 years or more I have been going, get great refunds and Liane and I are like old mates! I luv them!!

Liane and Barbara were taking care of my income lodgements for last 21 years after a friend of mine introduced me about them. Always prompt in process and gave me unchanged great care and supports to me and my friends.I had very hard time up to 22 years ago with the international accountant farm’s branch office in Brisbane city… they were just expensive for no reason and useless.(I am not write down that farm’s name but they were from London originally and owned by an American oldest computer company.)So I am always so happy with MAS TAX Robina.

Absolutely disappointing service. We had our tax lodged in August and still waiting for our return. My husband and I have called 2 -3 times a week with no answer. We leave messages with nothing in return. Shocking service. We won't be coming back.

I completed my tax return and paid for it on the day to find out weeks later that it was not lodged by the accountant. I tried to follow up multiple times via email phone, website contact and Facebook with no response. The phone number has no answer service either. Nearly three weeks following no response I contacted Mas Tax headoffice who confirmed my return was not lodged and they also could not get hold of anyone at the at the Robina office. An accountant from the head office submitted my return on my behalf. Stay away from this unprofessional crew at Robina, the risk and time wasted is not worth it.

Avoid their services at all costs! I had my tax return done with them almost 2 months ago with a refund due back. I received a notification from the ATO 4 days after my appointment to say the refund had been deposited (it would’ve gone into their Trust account) so it was definitely lodged BUT I still haven’t received my refund! They refuse to answer their phones or return calls. Very unprofessional and unethical business. I will be making an official complaint to both the CPA and IPA about this dodgy outfit, bloody fuming!!!

Went to this accountant in 2019 to do quite a few years worth of tax... they lodged a couple of them and not the rest, emailed and called constantly but with no response. I waited until tax time 2020... brought up that they hadn’t lodged my previous years and was told they would get onto it ASAP. I’ve just checked ato online and they still haven’t completed the other returns. How long does it take to do a return?My husband has also had multiple issues with this company one resulting in a large tax bill.

I have been going to see Liane for years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! She is extremely professional, down to earth and wonderful to talk to. I highly recommend MAS TAX Robina to anyone who wants amazing service with a high return.

I've used Liane for a long time but this year will be the last. My tax return wasn't lodged for 5 weeks after my appointment, then i had a tax audit and i was completely abandoned by them. I rang 5 times, was answered and promised a call back but never received one. I had no idea how to justify what Liane had put on my return and ended up getting a fine because of it. Its their job to help you if you get audited!!!!!
