Cameron replaced my hot water tank. He was knowledgeable and professional and discussed options allowing me to make an informed decision. He was upfront with the cost and completed the job in a timely manner. His prices are very reasonable too. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Cam is amazing plumber. I was having a nightmare Sunday night, hot water suddently started bursting from below my kitchen sink. My wood floorboards was fast becoming flooded in hot water. It was like an insurance commercial. I was frantic, running around and on the edge of tears. I called SHD Plumbing and Cam was a calm voice over the phone, guiding me on how to turn off the valve. It worked and the water stopped spraying like a hose. He even advised for me to organise the plumber for the next day instead of Sunday so I didn't have to pay as much. He put my mind at ease when I was going through a terrible situation. I would highly recommend Cam to anyone. He genuinely cared about my situation and is the best plumber I've dealt with in Melbourne.

I recently got my hot water installation by them. Got overcharged more than other places. The invoice doesn’t show any breakdowns of cost. When enquired about the hidden costs and asked for a explanation, the owner hung up on me and blocked me. Would recommend getting quotations from other places before proceeding with this business.

SHD Plumbing were highly recommended to me by a colleague and friend, for which I'm very glad - they did an excellent and very professional job. The work involved replacing gutters, a new hot water system, and many (long overdue!) other plumbing maintenance and repair jobs around the house. Cameron explained clearly what needed to be done and what the alternatives were (in terms of either repairing or replacing parts, as well as different materials that could be used), and carried out the work promptly and efficiently.

SHD Plumbing went above and beyond to help resolve my blocked shower drain when the solution wasn’t straight forward. They absolutely went the extra mile to resolve our issue. The work was done quickly, very neatly and now the water drains perfectly so I can shower without being knee deep in water! The property was constantly flooding into the back of the house when there was heavy rain, despite having had wider drains installed by another plumber. SHD Plumbing was able to isolate the cause of the problem, redesign the drainage system, remove and replace pavers and construct the drainage system to alleviate the problem. There has been no flooding since the work was completed despite heavy rains.SHD Plumbing also removed and replaced internal floor tiling which had been damaged with the flooding, and was able to negotiate with our insurer when they would not cover the complete job.We were very satisfied with the work and assistance provided by SHD Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone requiring this type of work.

So impressed with Cam from SHD. We had a sudden, rather bad hot water leak, and he came out on a Saturday afternoon, and fixed it for us. And he gave us some advice about managing another problem which he noticed while doing repair we called him for. No hesitation in recommending SHD.
