C'est Bon French Restaurant Cairns
Had the best Pork belly of our life. Tender juicy meat and crispy crackling. Other dishes do not disappoint including Cray curry and Braised beef cheek. The dessert we shared - Vanilla souffle with Lychee sorbet was also Amazing. Hoping neither of the dishes would be taken off the seasonal menu before we return next year.

Sadly felt let down after our last meal. Have been before and always had a 5 star experience. The pork belly came with no crackling, although it was on the menu as slow cooked, one of the main draws of pork belly is always the crackling! The portion sizes were a bit on the small size, my husband and I shared a starter, had a main each and dessert each and drinks, but we were not full.The service has previously been fantastic but the wait staff were less attentive this time, not filling up glasses or checking on us after being served our mains. For the price tag we expected more.I hope they turn things around as I do enjoy the food, but for the price I expected a full belly and outstanding service.Ps the crème brûlée was the highlight! That I recommend!

My Waiter, Nick was soooo incredible. I ate alone to venture out to try new restaurants and loved my experience specifically because Nick was just so attentive and wonderful. I had snails to start with and it was perfect for a starter, the oils it was served in was paired deliciously with my warm bread and butter. Followed by another entree which was a beef tartare, not for the faint hearted, it had a lot of flavours. My Main was a barrumandi, plated nicely I couldn’t wait to dig in. To finish it off the creme brûlée was great! I’m a sweet tooth so it was definitely nice to have to served on a long dessert plate that looks massive but I finished it.I will definitely be coming back! Thanks to the chef.The only down side was one waitress who didn’t understand me as I asked her “is there a particular way of eating this dish” she thought I wanted to take it away. HahaOther than that. Superb!

Edit for owner - no, I left straight after as I had a phone call about my daughter being sick. But it's not how I feel" about the portion sizes. It's just how it is with your restaurant. And that's fine

Not many options for food selection, the entree we ordered was bland, the foods itself not much flavours could only taste the pesto sauce. However, the steak was cooked to perfection. Nothing to pick. The dining environment was pretty elegant. Staff are friendly.

French, fine dining done well in Cairns. The food was well plated, generously sized and delicious, with Les Escargot an entree highlight. Front of house were friendly and courteous, and dining on the balcony was airy and intimate in June.

Valentine's lunch, the staff was very welcoming, wonderful service. The food was perfect, highly recommended especially the tiger prawn starter wow everything was delightful.

A place to go if you can spare some times for lunch or dinner. Very nice presentation and good service. You can change your complimentary wine to soft drink / juice /coffee / tea. Juice is good.

Had dinner recently with family. Lovely atmosphere however, service was pretty average. Dinner was scallops and pork belly and creme brule. The food was absolutely fantastic! Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly.

A great little hidden gem. Awesome food, service and ambience. A little authentic slice of France in Cairns. A must do!
