KU Petersham Preschool

We immediately felt welcome within KU Petersham Preschool. Our kids love going each day and rave about all the wonderful things they do. It is such a friendly, caring and knowledgeable group of staff who are doing an incredible job of preparing the kids for their transition to school next year. The children and community that come with it are also amazing - the preschool really takes advantage of this and creates the close community feeling that we were after with the numerous picnics, working bees etc. you have the opportunity to take part in. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I just love KU Petersham, Kathy and all the teachers are fabulous. I would highly recommend sending your children. I can’t speak highly enough of the great work they do there. The outdoor play area is amazing with so much space to explore my daughter loves it.

This is such a beautiful preschool and I can't recommend it highly enough. Kathy and her team are so professional and caring. My son took a while to settle into preschool like most children, but I never once felt anxious about leaving him as I knew he was in very good hands. The preschool has a lovely grassy outdoor area and is very nature focused. Having visited a few different preschools myself for work, I can say this is one of the best! My son is very happy and supported there and I have seen him change so much, in a really positive way over the last 12 months.

KU petersham is an outstanding Preschool. The staff are experienced, engaged and creative. Teachers make learning fun, following the child's natural interests into new directions. Children learn to be inquisitive and to investigate the world around them. I can't recommend KU Petersham more highly

KU Petersham is an absolutely fabulous Preschool!! My daughter has thrived in her 2 years at the school and I truly wish she could have 2 more years here. Kathy snd the staff really care and genuinely engage with the kids in a tailored way; nurturing and fostering their individual interests. The extensive outdoor area provides endless opportunities for adventure, imagination and fun. The educators are very socially and environmentally aware, resulting in fascinating group projects and really engaged kids. Having looked at several pre schools in the area I can confidently say we chose one of the best! I cannot recommend highly enough!

We sent our daughter to KU Petersham preschool for 2 years (2019-2020). It is an exceptional preschool, the best I have ever experienced.My daughter has some additional needs and the staff did everything they could to support her social and emotional development in preparation for school, including developing an inclusive learning plan for her (which were effectively implemented by the staff) and working with her outside therapists to ensure consistency in approach between preschool and home. The centre has also put a lot of work into their outdoor environment and my daughter still has an enduring love of gardening and nature as a result of the projects she worked on at KU.My daughter is now thriving in her mainstream school environment, and I'm well aware that the support she received KU Petersham was a huge part of preparing her for that. It is an exceptionally inclusive and supportive environment, with talented and dedicated staff who really care about helping each child develop their potential. A big thank you to Kathy, Sam, Elysia and all the other educators at KU Petersham.

Our first child attended here and loved it, our second is currently there and has a great time. The staff are lovely and caring, and their large outdoor area with covered sandpit, art, trampoline, gardens and play equipment is a big reason KU Petersham stands out. Outdoor play is so important for development away from screen time. We have no hesitation recommending KU Petersham.

KU Petersham is an outstanding Preschool. Our kids have flourished and grown in confidence in their time at the school. Kathy and her amazing staff are all experienced, engaged and natural nurturers. I couldn't recommend KU Petersham Preschool enough. The staff are kind, consistent, experienced and professional. Our daughter loves attending here and it is so apparent that she is learning lots. The environment, especially the outdoor space, is fantastic.
