Very disappointed, but our expectations may have been too high.Based on prices and the descriptions of the dishes we expected that it was going to be an experience eating at the Mitch & Co Cafe. Unfortunately it wasn't to be.I had the Pulled Beef Bennie with an ingredient list as long as your arm - this was to be full of flavour. Photo attached. And yet it was bizzarly tasteless.The coffee was good as was my wife's meal - but nothing to come back for.And to top if off we were charged $2 for a mug of hot water. Very odd.Wouldn't go back.

This place is amazing!I highly recommend the grilled chicken pesto stack on the specials menu, it had a great blend of flavours and presentation.I also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly with selecting and great meal from an amazing menu.

Visited Mitch and co while on our way back to Melbourne. It was quite busy when we visited hence the food took over 25 mins to arrive but other than that everything was good. We were served with a pleasant smile. My Japanese pancakes were exactly what I needed that morning- filling and flavoursome. Husbands burger was simple but good. Coffees were perfect! Would definitely visit again next time we are in the area

Tyabb is enjoying a revival of cafe culture with lovely addition to it's already healthy selection of chic cafes. The salads pictured are great and the coffee is consistently reliable. I'm a fan of my black coffee and I'm a bit of a coffee snob. It is, however, the selection of sweet treats that gets me coming back. Savoury and Sweet muffins baked fresh daily on site are perfect along with almond croissants, lemon merengue donuts, cakes and tarts (the list goes on).The staff are lovely and what I have seen of the lunch menu looks fantastic too. I'm waiting to return for a go at the burger I saw go past me while I was there last.

Visited here recently for some coffees and cakes.The venue itself is lovely - nicely fitted out. The staff are also friendly.We had a scone and a jam donut to share - both were very nice, with proper jam and cream being served. The coffee was also good.We can't comment on the main food menu, but what we saw being brought out looked good.Will revisit again when back in the area to try out some of their lunch options.

Over the years I must have visited dozens of cafes. Most have ok coffee some very good, others just plain terrible. But every now and then you get an exceptional coffee and I can count on one hand the amount of times that has happened. Mitch & Co is one of those, absolutely superb coffee here.

Was my first visit on 24th Jan and can't wait to go back. Coffee beautiful food amazing great flavour and presentation. Plenty of setting and lovely staff.
