Yarra Junction Dental Surgery

I was treated with consideration and a great deal of care by Stewart & his team.I would highly reccomend this dental surgery.The entire team seem to gel and bounce of each other.Don't make the mistake of going somewhere else if you live local.

I have been going to this surgery for 18 months and so glad I found them. The most friendly, happy place with excellent service. Dr. Nirosha Rajapakse is the best dentist I have had. I've needed lots of work and she has been just wonderful, gentle, caring, happy, helpful and so good at her job. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the most gentle and caring dental practice I have ever encountered. Stewart, the nurses and receptionist are very caring and professional at the same time very down to earth and genuine. The day after my wisdom tooth extraction I even received a follow up phone call to make sure everything was ok. Never in my personal experience have I had that! Very highly recommend

I checked reviews, as a new dentists is a big deal. Some reviews were mixed, so here is my reflection.On 2/2/23 I attended and saw Dr Helena delightful, articulate young dental surgeon.She was kind, witty and very good at her craft in my experience. My procedure was difficult with part of my back tooth having fallen away. Too many sweets, perhaps?The anaesthetic is was delivered carefully and with no pain responses felt. During the almost hour long procedure, she afforded me a number of breaks and always enquired as to how I was travelling?My two previous dental surgeries have been in South Melbourne and Essendon. All quality surgeries. Yarra Junction, from the very modern complex, to the professional counter staff and Dr Helen and assisting nurse (Lauren I think?) made the experience first class, and easily matched their bigger city cousins.I have NIB insurance, so the cost to me overall, was very affordable.The wait time to make an appointment was quite reasonable given it was coming out of the holiday season.I told Helen I enjoyed the experience so much, I’d consider doing it again, to which gales of laughter followed.Well done ladies.

Had great experience first time here with Stewart next time went back had someone different had X-rays but not told about costs - Did 2 small fillings on 1 she said oops too deep" and I've had nothing but issues for over a year with that tooth. My teeth have never had a problem before but now I live with a constant pain and sensitivity due to digging too deep for a filling lack of care considering she had xray to show her how deep to go...I'll never go back to this one."

I took my daughter in for a possible hole in the tooth. No hole was found and yet they still took 2 X-rays!! I asked for a clean and check up and they offered some ficshers to fill deep grooves, which we did.20 mins in the seat, no clean, 2 unnecessary X-rays and a bill over $380!!! It just doesn't need to be so expensive

Lovely relaxed clinic with really kind and caring dental nurses. If the dentists ask if you can continue without more injections, I would suggest asking for more and not making the mistake i did haha. They're always happy to help make you more comfortable

Stewart and his team were sooooo kind. He was great at distracting me and his compassion for my situation was genuine. Found my forever dentist!!
