Mushy peas are terrible. Pineapple fritters are paper thin. Squid rings came all stuck together with the fish. Not worth the price

Ordered over $40 worth of fish and chips for 2 kids and 2 adults. Ordered extra chips as knew one serve wasn't enough. Got home and we didn't get the extra chips we ordered. Rang up to let them know and i was told to send a photo to a mobile number to prove that I didn't receive them (very strange and quite rude i thought) by the time I did all that went back and got the chips, the other food was cold and to be honest not what it used to be!! This place has changed for the worst! Don't waste your time or money!!!

Really delicious, I haven't had a bad experience with this place. Fish and chips always tastes great and I order from here most Fridays, never had burnt Oil flavoured fish or chips.I would probably just add 10 minutes to the 15 minute wait time, when you order by phone, just to save waiting at the shop.Awesome & Yummy.

We were really disappointed by the amount of chips we received in a value deal. With 4 pieces of fish there was definitely not enough chips to go around. After a phone call, explaining we were very disappointed about what we had received, they did nothing and said they have reduced the amount of chips they give because the chips cost more!!! Will not be recommending the glades fish and chips to anyone and definitely won't be ordering from there again!!!We should have got pizzas... at least it would have fed the whole family

Phoned to order and asked for eight pieces of fish. Was told the family deal come with six, so i also ordered two kids fish and chips. I double check with the person on the phone that this was Eight fish, and chips to match. When we collected the order it looked to small so I opened them in the car to check, sure enough only seven fish and small amount of chips. Went back in and spoke to the lady at the counter and she said sorry the family deal is five fish only, after explaining the situation she refused to do anything about it and I had to pay extra. Also wouldn't even talk about the dismal amount of chips, never going back

We are very picky when it comes to fish and chips, and were not at all disappointed with the quality and price here. Chips were perfectly crispy and fish was decent too. They have great combo deals too. Would recommend and we'll be back for sure

Ordered a fish and chips today - what should have been less than $20, turned out to be $47. Don’t trust this shop, check your order before you leave the shop. They load your order ( we had extra fish) but they expect you to pay for it

Something has gone wrong here. Portions have reduced significantly. Chips size is now abysmal. Fish is no longer as fresh as ever and crab stick is sour. This used to be such a gem. Best fish and chips this side of town I would boast to friends and family, but this is now such a bust. Not good guys. Time to improve please..... we need the old quality control back!

The guy that served us (Damien, I think) he added way too much salt to our food. There was a hair in our food and he purposefully left our food until last even though we ordered before others.

Been living in Byford for 20 months ,tried all the fish and chip shop in Byford and I mean all ,this one call the Glades Fish and Chips is by far the best I have ever had ,not one bad order ,chips are cooked to perfection and the fish is nice and firm when cooked and the batter just give it that lovely taste ,and nothing is ever missing from my order ,To all the staff I thank you for such great fish and chips ,all my family and friends shop there now ,Kind regards,Lewis
