The worst restaurant ever!!! We went to have food and they brought us the burnt bread and when we asked them to change it they said this is how it comes out of oven. Plus they charged us $7 for a plastic container where everywhere else it’s for free when u wanna take the left over food home. I questioned the lady why she overcharged me and she replied saying never come back here with the worst attitude. Please don’t waste your time and money going there. The customer service is badddd

We Love their Chapli Kababs, the best in Sydney!You won't get such Kababs even in Pakistan, they are so good!The Chapli Kabab plate comes with a Roti, which is fresh and served hot.This time we ordered Qabuli pulao Rice and they were amazing. I could taste the Lamb Broth in Rice. Wowww!About price its a bit on the expensive side.The Chapli Kabab plate is at $22 for 2 kabab. But i think the weight and size of Kabab is value for money. One plate is more than enough for one person.Highly recommended

Last night we family of 5 visted here. We ordered one chabli kebab $15, one chicken karahi $30 (full of crushed bones as bites were too small), one Ashak $16, one bolani $8 and none of dishes was served by bread on side what we should have got. All other restaurants in same area serve these dishes with bread on side. So to eat these dishes we ordered 3 breads while they served us 4. Also no water by side so we ordered one small water bottle. To all this they charged us $85, can owner explain why they charged this hefty amount? All dishes we ordered makes total of $69 without breads. So this means Lasani charged us extra $16 for 4 breads + one 600ml water bottle. At paying time my husband went confused and later while coming back when we calculated we were extremely upset otherwise would have raised then and there only. People from far goes to Merrylands to enjoy great food at reasonable prices but this has put us off to visit anymore to nearby restaurants in near future and definetly never ever to this restaurant. Lasani enjoy your day by ripping us.***NEW COMMENT ON LASANI'S REPLY***Great to recieve reply from Lasani,Yes the time we entered your restaurant it gave us sense its your family running business and we humbly appreciate it but when you are running business be fare and as a customer we have our right to say that the money we spent was worth or not. Thats the beauty of social media where everything is transparent. I would have greatly appreciated you if you had taken my comment in right spirit as a mistake from your end but you rather lied on whole scene. Firstly, the board pricing was never there besides pictures only and its clearly seen you just uploaded the prices with your this replying comment and also there is one new review from someone who is commenting on board pricing to be fair & clear. Weirdly how this new comment from someone came at same time of your replying me to talk particularly on board pricing where in my first comment I never mentioned about board pricing or your paper menu. Please get over this atitude and play honest. By the way where is Chicken Karahi prices on your pretend board. Also you mentioned you serve Chabli Kebab with naan where in your own menu discription you yourself mentioning that Chabli Kebab serves with salad and sauce only, no mention of free naan along it, come on atleast bluff by checking everything. I am uploading your that menu what you showed us with actual prices on which we ordered it accordingly. Secondly, you served same portion what is your restaurant policy so its upto us how much we eat or leave or take away, where we were only two people who was eating meat as my other 3 members ate only veg and we packed our meat portions ONLY as veg portions were done and dusted. Its very personal choice what to take away or not so better dont claim or comment on that. Yes, its our solely choice not the ISSUE (what you mentioned) where we eat or no as we earn hard so will choose our way but definitely will never ever recommend yours to anyone who charges like Fine Dinning on everything Minus Fine Dinning services or seating. Wish we could have considered flooded reviews for the restaurants running heartly down the street with great services and half of your prices.****I will further not comment on any of your reply so consider this as my last comment because you clearly lied and made this conversation not fair enough to discuss further. I have a really bad experience in this restaurant please I suggest you not to come here. The customer service is so bad that I have never experienced something like this before. While I was eating, there was a cockroach that was climbing on the wall next to me. When I needed to use the restroom, I was led into a room that had a curtain as a door, and there was rubbish everywhere. There were so many spiders and spider webs that it was very unorganised and unhygenic. Secondly, I'm so surprised that the council has still let them operate every day. I asked for a bag, and the amount of attitude that was given was appualing. There were so many hazards where children could fall and hurt themselves. The railing was on the verge of breaking, and cords lying around. The food was so disgusting that I found a hair in it. Thanks, Lasani.

Very poor service and cold behaviour… if you have stamina to tolerate insensitivity then go ahead .I don’t recommend this place because of I’ll- manners and unwelcoming behaviour .

The food was so good. Very authentic Afghan food. Apparently, this is as close to home cooking as you can get in a restaurant. I loved it. Everything was great; the rice, the meatballs, the eggplant, the bread. All these dishes have proper names but I can't remember them.We came for a private function which was catered and set up in a small room upstairs. It was pretty hot in that top room with so many people, even with the window open.

Loved the chicken malai boti and chicken Karai ... because it was prepared immediately, it did have some bones and I would have loved some more gravy / curry ... but it's still one of the best chicken dishes I've had in Sydney. The sheer Yakh (dessert) had sufficient bits of dry fruits. I'm going to come again soon!!

We group of 5 friends visited this restaurant to eat something nice as heard butFood is expensive not worth it.Again food is very expensive but customer service not worth it, The owner and and all the boys who were working have VERY LONG HAIR even we found hair in our food no one cover their hair.WORST SERVICE I ever had in my life. You have to ask for every single thing you need at front counter.The food that they show in picture and the food you get has huge difference ,ordered Lahori charga but we get most dry and tasteless chicken. But the chicken kharai was good with the less serving of raita and salad otherwise kebab tasted pretty good.I have never seen such dirty place with disgusting smell one of my friend got food poisoning throwing up after smelling that place ( restroom)Would never recommend someone to go if the food is good but the customer service and the cleaning is worst then any other place.
