An absolute treasure. If you need an escape, even overnight, I highy recommend The Cove. What a beautiful hidden paradise. Such a welcoming environment and the scenery is second to none. Ultimate privacy and leaves you renewed. Thank you to Kim and her wonderful team. We will be back for sure.

From the moment we arrived and were shown to our beautiful room with a spectacular view, we relaxed into our stay at one of the best locations we have ever stayed in our travels throughout the world. It is a perfect combination of land, sea and sky.The villa was elegant and comfortable with a large bathtub to soak in while taking in the ocean view.The entire staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly and helpful throughout our five day stay. The spa treatment was fabulous and one of our meals prepared by the personal chef was delicious.Hiking in the hills and watching the little blue penguins coming to shore each night is something we will always remember in this very special place.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this hotel has it all. I have stayed here multiple times, I must say it’s a fantastic experience from start to finish.The hotel’s location is stunning, nestled right by the coast with breathtaking ocean views. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries.The place truly exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

Launceston based - On Sunday we went for an overnight getaway as a belated mothers day gift. Did not feel like we were on the outskirts of Devonport, felt like we were a world away! Check-in was seamless and informative, with a tour of the premises. The owners have thought of and catered for EVERYTHING! Staff were the perfect balance of helpful but non-intrusive (there if you need). The common areas are so luxurious & plentiful with thoughtful touches everywhere! The honesty fridge stocked with a great range of standard snd local wines and beers. The weather was rough, which made it all the more cosy! We stayed in one of the cliffside apartments, 180 degree coast/seaview. Was everything we needed to switch-off" and "check-out" for a bit. Warm and relaxing

The Cove is such a unique stay that we could not believe was real. Every day felt like waking up in a dream with the spectacular view from the cliff side cabins. The staff were incredibly friendly and Kim made sure our honeymoon was perfect.It’s close enough to tourist sights but has a secluded feel. We are leaving our stay feeling completely refreshed.We are already planning our next visit to soak up the fresh air.

We spent a night in the Cliffside 1 apartment, which provided stunning views of the coastline. The room was large, clean and had bath. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were exceptional. The large shared area includes a kitchen and living spaces, making it a perfect getaway for a group. We were unable to enjoy the walks that were on offer on the property due to the weather, but we will definitely be returning. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Exceptional 5 out of 5 ⭐️This place is a big highlight of our trip. From the moment we drove onto the gravely path and met with those breathtaking views through to the entirety of our stay. The architecture was stunning & facilities top notch, staff were extremely kind, helpful and SUPER friendly! We stayed in the cheviot which was so comfortable. Loved the small touch of 2 types of pillows and the beautiful skylight, and thats big coming from a non morning person. This was my first experience of glamping and honestly, if this is how glamping really is.. sign me up cause this experience was outstanding. We were so grateful for the tips shared by the staff so that we could maximise our chances of seeing the cutest penguins from one of the decks which is a short stroll from the accommodation. Absolutely magical

Our 2 nights at The Cove was amazing. We stayed in the Cliffside apartment and the view was stunningly beautiful looking out onto Bass Strait watching the waves pounding onto the cove.The sunrise and sunsets were superb.Customer service and facilities were on point and nothing to much trouble.

Breathtaking views and wonderful staff. A true representation of nature & serenity, with a mixture of country and beachside. All amenities available for you to use. A very comfortable place to stay, would recommend to anyone :)

This place was amazing, the view is just incredible and it is so peaceful.The rooms do not have a bathroom but this was no big deal to be honest. The facilities they provided in the main area were great.The kitchen and BBQ areas were of a very high standard.They have a drinks fridge that works on an honesty system which is great except we had to leave before staff started the next day so a bit of a pain to fix it up.A huge bonus was being able to walk to the beach at night and see penguins. It was an amazing experience.It is adults only which makes the atmosphere very relaxing and I thoroughly recommend this to any couples staying in devonport.
