Matchroom Snooker Centre

Today (19/11/22), we had visited your venue in hopes of having a snooker game. At the time of our arrival, there were no available tables so we left a contact number with Staff Member 1 (male), and then waited outside on the bench. We noticed he had left and Staff Member 2 (male) had replaced Staff Member 1. We went in to confirm that we were still on the wait list and will be contacted. Staff Member 2 confirmed we were next on the list and we would be called when a table was next available.He left and Staff Member 3 (female) had started, approximately 5.00pm. At this point we saw another group fill an empty table that we knew had just become vacant. We went in to understand why we didn't receive that vacant table.Staff Member 3 informed us that she wasn't aware of the waitlist and that calling people when a table is vacant isn't part of her job. Her manner in communicating with us was poor and she didn't offer an apology for the inconvenience caused.We request the Owner / Venue Manager look into this matter and provide us with an outcome.

Great pool place. Alot of tables Full size snooker tables and billiard tables. Usually don't need to wait too long for a table. The rates are reasonable also. Unfortunatley tables cannot be booked ahead. Coffee, Drinks and snacks available. Great atmosphere alot of dining options in the center also.

We play here every week. The place is always tidy. Additionally, the equipment and tables are well maintained. They have good weighted cues and not the cheap pub cues. Probably the best billards/snooker venue in Brisbane.

One of the best Snooker/pool rooms I have had the pleasure of going to and playing on the tables. The full size are world class standard. The sets of balls are cleaned everytime on return to the counter. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere is great for a fun and enjoyable night out with friends. 5 Stars. This is a fun place to play snooker or 8 ball pool with friends or family. It's well run, very clean, and feels like a safe & friendly environment. Price for tables is also good value. Toilets & restaurants are nearby. Undercover park available. Best during quiet times. I would highly recommend.

Nice place to kill time, cheap price, great atmosphere and friendly staff. They wash balls after every use, wipe cues and brush tables which is reassuring especially at this time. Would like to recommend there to my friends.

Fair price, good atmosphere. Lights on the 9 ball table coverings are damaged at all the tables.Edit: changed rating to 5 star. Management has taped up damage to lights.

A great place for people of all ages to come and have fun in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.Would be great if some comfortable seating were to be added, such as a corner lounge in each of the corners and longer lounges along the walls.
