Livid Skate Cafe

Staying in the area we asked several locals where to go for a coffee and quick bite to eat and everyone suggested Livid Cafe. It did not disappoint! Friendly staff and great atmosphere on top of great food and coffee. We ended up going there 3 mornings of our 5 day trip

Great Cafe for a coffee and especially as a venue for different events such as music gigs and photography exhibitions. The staff are lovely and the Cafe has a great projector to have screening of movies and short films. Always a great night to be had if you attend any event there, having been to three in the last few months.

Love starting my work days here with a morning coffee and breakfast wrap.No matter the time of day, the staff are always happy, smiling and willing to have a chat.Cafe is always kept clean.Plenty of seats and lots of things to look at if you are waiting for your take away order.Kids loving looking around at all the boards, shirts and photos around the shop.Definitely recommend a quick stop in take away or dine in.

Coffee is consistently good. I got a FW at 10am on a Saturday when they were absolutely PUMPING and it was just as good as the one I got at 6am on a weekday when I was the only one there.The vegan brekkie wrap is ‘ken tasty as.NB: If they are busy don’t let that faze you (unless you have somewhere to be - that’s your concern, don’t make it theirs). Order at the till, relax, and take the time to scout out the merch and peruse the artwork.

Highly Recommend Livid Skate Cafe!Livid is my go-to at Scarborough Beach for a coffee. I am at Livid often for a coffee, and to enjoy one of my favourite brekkie sandwiches, Livid’s “Aussie Battler”, (often also sample the other sandwiches and wraps available, all really good). Serving one of the best coffee’s around, in an excellent laid back venue, and usually good soft music.Livid has been for a while to be a good place to start my day. Grab a coffee, take a seat at a small table in the “Fishbowl”, (a small adjoining art gallery highlighting local artists), check my calendar and emails, and the plan the day. I also use Livid for morning business meetings, (good place for a coffee and a chat). There is also sidewalk tables in the alleyway in front of the store.Livid Skate Cafe, earns its name, lots of skate boards and accessories and cool merchandise available. The baristas and the owner are also accomplished skate boarders, just in case you need some tips (this is not me).Finally, but most important, is to recognise the staff. Whether you are a newby, or a local like me, we are all treated with exceeds expectations customer service at Livid. Staff are professional, fun and laid back, and all friendly, ready to help you start your day with a smile.If there is a long line, which there sometimes is, don’t be put off, the team works like a machine and it does not take long to get your coffee, it’s worth the wait

Awesome coffee. Awesome staff. Awesome location. Awesome vibe. Has a laid back co-working kind of feel surrounded by skateboards and artwork. Always something new and inspiring to look at and great conversations to be had.

The coolest (and tastiest) coffee shop in Scarborough. I was looking for a take away coffee and posted on socials where to go and was unanimously told to go to Livid. Funnily enough it was right behind me. I walked in, staff were awesome, coffee was GREAT! This is now my new go-to. Thanks guys
