Golden Hot Bread

Bought a pepper steak pie and an egg sandwich and it was the best of both items I’ve had in my 16 years in QLD. The pie pastry and gravy was perfect and the steak was tender with no chewy bits. The egg sandwich was definitely filled with delicious egg and salad and it was a decent sized sanga. The prices were cheaper than most bakeries which is a bonus. I went there yesterday and have not stopped thinking about it so I will be back today to try other items. The quality definitely speaks for itself!

Have been going to this bakery for some time now and have always enjoyed the food, whether it be deserts to the hotdogs, sausage rolls, and pies. Freshest ham/chicken salad rolls along with great customer service. Always greeted with a smile.

18/03/23Originally 5 star review - however now ☆☆, do not waste your time going into the shop unless the bloke is on.The lady who is here, is on the phone all the time, voice and video call - I am happy to wait for someone to finish up there chat if it is once off. But every single time I have been in she is on the phone.Extremely poor customer service, I told her today she has lost my bussiness and frankly she did not care.It is such a shame because the bloke is awesome - but come up guys, customers come first - not chats on the phone when customers are in the store.-----‐----Bloody great piesCustomer service is great and $$$ price is bloody goodHave a great Xmas guys and please keep it up.From the bloke who gets a pie and redbull most days :)

Always fresh, service is great, prices are low, staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make customer happy. I go there nearly every day. If u want your salad rolls go early. I'm not usually a pie person but if they have run out of salad rolls their pastry selection is just as good

One of the best pies and sausage roll we’ve tried. We also always get their white slice bread! It stays soft for a week and tastes amazing even without spread.

Good bakery. The food is very good and fresh.I got a meat pie, sausage roll and apple pie all for only $10.50. Check out those pies, they sure don't skimp on the fillings!

Pie didn't have a lot of meat and too much gravy, the sausage roll was very greasy and too much much bread crum, very average at best

Disappointing.. Chunky steak pie was mostly off/bad tasting gravy with very little actual steak. Nice pastry though.
