We had an amazing night at Miss Songs last night. Our table of 5 was well looked after with regular service in a friendly and relaxed manner. Our order included duck pancakes, quite a few dumplings, signature fried rice and our favourite the Mongolian Lamb served on a sizzling plate. We can’t wait to return! Thanks for a sensational night Miss Songs.

It was a very underwhelming and overpriced experience - the food was poor quality, I ordered the sweet and sour pork which is a fairly common dish however, the pork was little deep fried balls which was overpowered by batter with some sweet and sour sauce on top. My partner ordered a Singaporean noddle dish which was a vegetarian dish however, this came out to have meat in it.Special fried rice - nothing special about this. The drinks however, were delicious. I ordered a Vietnamese espresso martini and my partner ordered a chilli margarita. All in all, $180 - I probably will not return or recommend.

We booked a table of 6. 3 ordered banquets and 3 chose entrees and mains. The first problem was that the individual orders kept being delivered to the banquet diners which could have been awkward. The scallop and prawn San Choy Bow was tasty. My Seafood Supreme was served in a white tasteless gravy - I understand that the seafood flavour shouldn’t be overpowered but the flavourless sauce was redundant. There was lots of food leftovers including a bowl of special fried rice that staff would not pack so we could take it home and eat it. When Food Waste is such a global issue it’s time Miss Songs recognised they have a role to play - and no it is not “against health regulations”. Overall disappointing

Great restaurant. Expansive menu and reasonable wine list but not many wines by the glass. I recommend the sashimi and the duck pancakes!

We had a table booked for 8:30pm but on arrival had to wait half an hour for a table to become available. It was a busy night for a Sunday and the staff seemed flustered. We were seated near the kitchen and during our visit we heard at least 4 plates / glasses smash onto the floor. The air conditioner vents in the ceiling above us dripped water on us the whole time. Drinks took 15 minutes to arrive after ordering. We had Banquet 1. I’m not sure that I liked the salt and pepper calamari but others in my group thought it was ok. The peppered beef and the sweet and sour pork were delicious. The Miss Songs fried rice was nice overall but the pieces of scallop were weird - strange texture and an artificial taste (I usually love scallops). They did give us a free round of drinks (beers and coke) in lieu of a table not being available. For the price I did not see the value. The meal overall was good but it was a rather average dining experience. We probably won’t go back.

Good quality food. Not cheap. We enjoyed the duck banquet. 5 courses of duck based dishes. All very tasty. They were happy to swap out the crab and duck buns for spring rolls at our request.

Why is this place not ranked higher? Price is high but quality is great. Exceptional food for a regional Australian town - high quality, great attentive service and wonderful location. Hard to fault anything here. Salt and pepper calamari exceptional, duck pancakes lots of meat - great, the barramundi serving was small, the beef excellent and high quality, the San choy bow great ! Deep fried ice cream great a bit too much honey or sweet sauce in it. A+ location is classy and can’t be beat. One gripe - the toilets downstairs the hand soap was replaced with cheap pink stuff. Putting a bit of lipstick on a pig - Ville should pull up their socks on that. Can you imagine Soho House replacing their Cow toiletries with something cheap but keeping the packaging?
