I was inside the car at a loading zone at Box Hill central while my Mrs went to loo for 2 minutes. It was early in a week day morning. This 2 minutes landed me $185 parking fine. The council woman could have alerted me to leave if she valued managing traffic. Obviously she just valued revenue. I swear I won't come to Melbourne again, especially the Box Hill area. Never again. This city is not tourist friendly at all.

I can't emphasise enough about how disappointed I feel for Whitehorse City Council despite our family has been living under their jurisdiction for over 30 years. This Council is filled with GREED, INCOMPETENT, LACK OF EMPATHY, RUTHLESS, group of businessmen/women, not public servants who willingly try to help, understand, listen to ordinary citizens.

Discusting behavior. I was crying on the phone they towed my car because someone on the street said I was blocking their driveway when I was nowhere near anyone's drive way nor was I opposite a drive way. They just showed up and decided to two it away. Wouldn't tell me how to get my car back. The battery was having issues too so I was going to get a new battery, they told me well if the battery was dead

Like most councils in Victoria they care more about how they appear and virtue signalling rather than their job which is to work for the residents and ratepayers. They like doing things without notification, consultation or communication. Some council workers treat the city as their own fiefdoms. The elected officials are generally better (hence the star). Recently heard an unelected council worker completely bagging out one of the elected officials in a local bakery.

Whitehorse council should thanks to google cant rate 0. Worst council ever just want to grab our money with hefty fines. Reached to my car 20 min late due to an appointment and was charged $118 fine. Even after paying for parking space I have to pay $118 fine. Govt needs to change fine policy.

After months of promising to keep elderly constituents in the loop on changes to providers of vital in-home services, then bombarding them with advertising material from private contractors and demanding clients make a choice within days, this pack of incompetent clowns have told my father that he hasn't replied (he has, his home help person actually hand delivered it to their office because the post would not have arrived in the time allowed) and that his meals on wheels and weekly home help would therefore be cancelled. They have frightened an already frail old man who is luckily not going to be depending on them for much longer.I've given one star only because you can't award zero.16/6 updateWith only two weeks to go of meals being provided by the council before handing over to an interstate contractor, elderly residents are again bombarded with reams of confusing paperwork and being told they have to have it completed by the next delivery date. In my father's case this amounts to not quite ONE business day. These practices seem actually designed to cause as much distress as possible and can't just be explained by a shortage of trained or competent or even remotely interested staff. Utterly appalling.

Absolutely useless. Don't care about anything, I've been complaining about the same barking dog for 5 years and nothing has been done. I now have high blood pressure as a result of this so anyone in the same boat just know your better off not reporting it.

Whitehorse council only cares about draining money from their residents and nothing else. Street parking around the hospital is $20/day and if you are 7 minutes" late

They don’t care about the chaos around PLC on corner of Elgar rd and Burwood hwy during morning and afternoon drop off and pick ups. They are quick to advise this issue is VicRoads problem.I hope you don’t need an ambulance during this time as they can’t pass due to all the cars parked and can’t get through.

Absolutely appalling that this council spends so much of ratepayers money to satisfy so few. First they spend 50k on cricket nets for the forest hill football and cricket club. Then recently more money spent on new works for standing area for crowds. And to think the nearest decent" playground is kms away and the nearest bmx track is even further away. There are many more facilities that can attract the ratepayers money which can and would be enjoyed by alot more people."
