Ordered chicken laksa and noodles from lovely waitstaff which came out quick and was very tasty - 5 Star. Decided to have dessert and ordered ‘House Made’ coconut ice cream. Place was packed so waited 30mins. When it came out a different waitstaff just put it on the table without saying a single word. Was basically 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a coconut with a few coconut slithers on top. When I inquired I saw it was just Peters ice cream. Not sure that qualifies as ‘house made’ and certainly not worth $18 I paid!!!

We had the best time at Lane 198. The cheeseburger spring rolls were so scrumptious and the twice cooked duck was super tasty! Definitely recommend!

This place is a local gem. It’s just around the corner from our place. We always go here when we crave Thai/Asian food because the food is always good, service is friendly and vibe is nice.

Food is ok with decent portion sizes. The duck was underwhelming and a bit too hard to be honest. The popcorn shrimp was nice and the bao was super soft and nice. The place was packed even on a Tuesday night but the service was great and fast.

If you want to eat a delicious bao, this is the right place to visit. The quality of the food and the mixture of Asian flavours you can find, make this place one of my preferred options when eating out. I'm not much into desserts, but their fried ice cream is absolutely awesome. And you can also BYO, which makes it even better. I definitely recommend Lane 198!

My husband and I came for a small celebration and as soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us quickly and friendly, ambience of restaurant was beautiful and the food spectacular. Highly recommend!

Really great little spot! We had tempura eggplant and the chicken flat noodles with basil and chilly, both, amazing. Definitely be stopping in here more often!Also there was only one girl serving, however she was great, and on top of everything, great effort!

Of the dishes we tried the food was decent but a little sweet for my personal taste. They have signature dishes which we will have to try another time. Restaurant was full on a Saturday night which is a good sign. It's licensed but you can bring your own wine. Service was good considering the capacity crowd, staff were friendly and accommodating. Ambiance suited the mood. Seating is wooden stools which can be a bit hard for older people. Prices were reasonable, many choices in the menu.

Excellent Thai restaurant with a plethora of options and variety. We loved all the dishes we ordered. There were a lot of other dishes, including desserts, that looked really nice, but we didn't get to try on this visit. We will definitely be coming back again in a few weeks time to try the other delicious looking dishes.

Food and service was alright nothing commendable. For the mains, the food came out with so much time between them for each person which is not good when you like to eat together.
