Val's make up service is the most perfectly tailored and stress-free experience I've had - especially as a woman of colour! She colour-corrected my skin and ensured the final look was exactly as I'd hoped and to suit my event. The look lasted the entire night and I didn't have to touch up or think about it again! After you squeezed me in last minute for my Engagement party makeup a year ago, I knew that I had to have you do my makeup for my wedding day. You are such a kind, caring and bright person and it felt as though I had a friend doing my makeup. You helped me feel calm and at ease, and you were so patient and understanding with me even when I was fussy about things like having my brows just the way I like them! You catered to mine and my bridesmaid's needs perfectly, even for those that normally don't enjoy wearing too much makeup but you still made sure they felt comfortable and beautiful. Your products are high quality and long lasting, and the individual lashes looked so lush and natural on everyone. It was such a pleasure getting my make-up done by Val. Not only was she incredibly friendly and professional, but she also took the time to listen to my requests and preferences to create a look that was perfect for me. Her attention to detail was impeccable and she was also so patient even with having 8 other girls make-up to do after mine. I loved her work and was even lucky enough to hear her beautiful humming while she worked her magic.

Val is an expert at her craft and made me feel so beautiful. I was so glad she was available to do my wedding makeup for myself and 3 of my bridesmaids - she absoultely nailed it and the makeup stayed perfect for over 10 hours. She is such a lovely person to deal with when planning something as stressful as a wedding and an absolute professional on the day. Being a woman of colour with a darker complexion she matched my foundation flawlessly (which can be hard to find at times), and I am so happy with how I looked on the day!

Val is amazing!! From the moment she steps in the door she is professional, fun and attending to any and all of your needs. Having Val there the morning of my wedding was just like having another friend there! She was so friendly and kind, while always making sure myself and my bridesmaids felt comfortable. She did an amazing job on everyone’s makeup. We challenged her with 5 very different skin tones, skin types and ages... and she stepped up! As a woman with dark skin, my previous experiences with makeup artists had been less than ideal as my makeup had never quite matched my skin tone. Val ensured my makeup perfectly matched my skin tone and adjusted my inspiration photos to compliment my skin tone and face shape beautifully. We all felt so beautiful in our own skin thanks to Val’s talent! I cannot speak highly enough of Val and her makeup skills!!

Valerie is so lovely and knows what she is doing! I was particularly impressed with how well prepared she was for my skin tone. She had all the right shades to match my skin. The makeup in the end was flawless and lasted me the whole day!

Val is an incredibly wonderful person and expert make up artist. She did make up for my wedding which included 4 bridesmaids, 1 MOB and bride (me). Everyone's makeup was beautiful and matched perfectly to the preferences of each individual while still keeping to the soft glam theme. We had Valerie doing our makeup for a 30th all 8 girls. She was amazing, professional setup, quality, clean and organised. We all got different and unique makeup and what we wanted. We looked amazing even got plenty of compliments from hubby. Of course it doesn’t hurt she is a beautiful person!!! Would recommend her to everybody I know!!!
