What an amazing theatre! Super helpful, accommodating staff, excellent facilities and great sounding room - such an enjoyable experience for us.. looking forward to bringing our show to you again!

Thanks to the Volunteers and crew that keep this 1930's Theatre clean and operational. Great for business presentations too.. larger group conferences etc.. but the bottom line. .it could not exist without the volunteers. 5 stars +

Great place to watch live performances especially Tumut Takes 2

What a wonderful old theatre! I’ve been here to watch movies as it’s the only cinema we have, but it’s quite cold in winter. I came along for a school play before Covid and it was such a wonderful night. Not many of these old style theatres left so go see it while you can.

What a wonderful place, we were visiting Tumut recently and passed this place and started admiring the lead lighting and pressed tin ceiling when this lovely lady “Joy” offered to show us around. What a grand old place, built in 1920‘s and still retains its original features and furnishings.They still have the original Ticket box, chairs and mezzanine level. The ceiling, the projection room is original along with many other features.Joy said they would love to have the ceiling painted but the cost is beyond their budget, much to community and committees disappointment. This building is a classic example of the 1920’s and is worth attending one of their music or cinema nights just to see the inside. These types of buildings are part of our history and are only protected and maintained due to the hard work of people like Joy and the committee members.

Somewhat maintained historical theatre.. Acts as a cinema, stage and general auditorium.. Facilites are lacking but you expect that with the age but it is pretty cool seeing the old school seating and memorabilia..

What an awesome room for live music. Tumut is so lucky to have a dedicated group of people to keep this beautiful old building working for the community.
