Great location with beautiful river side sites. No facilities but absolutely beautiful. Pays to bring your own wood in as there's not much lying around apart from smaller stuff.Sitting around our campfire at night gazing up at the stars in quiet & peaceful surroundings is what camping is all about.At $11 per person per night it's a little overpriced, but still a beautiful location.There is also powered sites near the shearers quarters but at $55/night a but expensive.It's also an extra $5.50 per person if you wish to visit Mount Oxley unless you use the $55/night sites & Mount Oxley is included.

Has the potential to be amazing. Mt Oxley is a great place to visit with panoramic views of the countryside. Great place to have dinner whilst watching the sunset. The shearers quarters were not quite ready for accommodation and the shearing shed is very basic. Needs some specific area set up for vans and campers.

Spectacular place to camp, facilities were clean and everything worked. Ground is rock hard so take a hammer if you are camping. Host was very helpful.

Great elevated location with extensive views over Bourke & surrounds. Plenty of space to find a site to camp. Makes for some incredible sunrises and sunsets!Has a large covered camp kitchen with sink & running hot water, barbecues, large bench prep area & multiple tables/bench seats. Electricity not available. Also has 2 decent flushable toilets & wash basins.You just have to be able to tackle dirt roads, including the steep narrow pot holed road up to the camp area (not suitable for caravans), and the cold winds at this time of year (July)

Had a wonderful stay at Rossmore Station huts. Camping price includes the admission up to Mount Oxley. Lovely experience thanks to Denise and Bill (property owners)
