Went to the Dolan on Silk Road cafe with kids. Really liked the food. Huge variety to choose from. To me looked like a fusion of middle eastern and Asian cuisine. Very delicious. Be ready that portions are huge. One plate of noodles was enough to feed 4 people.Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only one star down as the wait time was RIDICULOUS, come on, 45mins until first dish on the table is not on. Especially for a homey, cozy cuisine. Needs to be done better.Food quality was pretty on point, always love a lamb, and the hand pulled noodles on the big pan chicken was a fav, I reckon we’ll try ask for more noodles next time

ordered lamb& veggies but all i got is 3-4 pieces lamb and lot's of veggies for $20!Yes it came with noodles on the side but it was tasteless and unsalted. It should be served together in better takeaway products not with the cheapest plastic containers. Again if you guys serve it with lots of veggies , noodles and a few pieces of meat , it wouldn't be worth it for $20.

Good food in general.Recommend Cumin Lamb with Bread, Pepper Chicken (with noodle) and Lamb Skewers.One star off for 2% debit card surcharge which is definitely illegal, one star off for BBQ Chicken Skewers that pretty pricy (4 tiny wings charged $10) with funny taste, another one star off for the chewy BBQ Lamb Ribs, and also the Lamb haggies vermicelli soup... sadly, the lamb soup must be the worst in Melbourne. A bit shame on halal cuisine...

Wandering around Box Hill, feeling a bit tired of noodles and dumplings, I came across this Urghur restaurant. I'd never been to one before, so I thought I'd give it a try. And I'm so glad I did!The menu had so many choices from the familiar to the not-so familiar. I tried the braised lamb necks and chicken skewers. The lamb was incredible - delicious spices and so tender. And the chicken skewers were charred to perfection - you get the char flavour, but it was taken off before burning so you're not crunching through parts like a charcoal briquette.The decor was quite simple, so I didn't have super high expectations, but the food was top notch, and a rival to any place I've been to that costs nearly twice as much, with fancy-looking interiors.Looking forward to returning soon and trying out a few other menu items. Highly recommended!

So, thought of giving this place a shot. And it hit the bullseye. Despite busy and new years day, they were very accommodating, service was great right from the door. Our food arrived pretty quickly considering it was houseful. We ordered the veggies and lamb noodles and the meat pie. Both were quite tasty and very decently portioned.Will be back trying the rest of their extensive menu.Keep it up guys.

Very grounded. Serves traditional and tasty food. Good portions as well. Super addictive!Note: they serve real food. Eat, pay and leave. Not recommended for pretentiousness or influencers...

Very lamb focused restaurant in Box Hill. They used to be on station street and has relocated to Whitehorse road. The lamb skewers are really good with the right amount of spice. However the chicken dish was just average. Would return to try their other lamb dishes in the future. The environment can use a bit more uplifting
