nice little store on the min street with friendly staff. they have all the normal clothing etc and a couple of china cabinets at the back of the store that have some interesting collectables.Go right out the back and they also have a small collection of furniture to browse through.

Of the (I think) 3 op-shops in Rockdale, this one has, by far, the more realistic prices. Others (including the large Salvo's store up the road in Tempe) tend to overprice their clothes. Charity works both ways. All stock is donated and people on low incomes go to shop at these places - not pay the same prices as they would for a similar new item in BiGW. Vinnies also do very good work in the community. It's mostly low-key so people don't realise it.

Large shop that has been serving the community for many years. Friendly service. Great location. Only minutes walk from train station.Prices are generally reasonable. I got a good brand denim jacket for $40.

Old white lady checked my bag today as I was paying for a $30 item. I've never seen any staff checking people's bags at Vinnies. She looked disappointed when there was nothing in my bag. Sorry I've disappointed you little lady. On another note when I came in, I nodded at her (saying hello), she just ignored me with a straight face. May be she did not like my face. I am not so sure why she checked only my bag.
