I have had a love for music all my life but never had the opportunity to master the piano in a way that would be enjoyable for others to listen to and most importantly to provide me with enjoyment and pleasure. My attempts over the years to play the piano always failed due to never being able to master a song properly, hence I decided to not let one more NYE resolution pass bye and took up the commitment to become a student of Zeljko Bedic OAM at the Paddington Music Studio. Zeljko is an absolutely wonderful, passionate, professional and engaging piano teacher. He has been very patient, thorough, kind, encouraging and most importantly has a method and approach to teaching pianothat leaves me feeling that I am improving each and every week with my technique, musicianship and overall piano playing. After just two terms I am over the moon with what I have already achieved with Zeljko’s professional guidance. Personally as an adult student, I believe anyone would be very fortunate to be a student of Zeljko’s, who I couldn’t recommend more highly. He is simply the best!

Zeljko is such an excellent music instructor. I found him by chance when I decided to take up playing an instrument again as an adult, and I’m so glad I did. I had played the flute as a teen and wanted to try something completely different as an adult. After my first introductory lesson on the accordion with Zeljko I was hooked. It’s such a delightful instrument to play and Zeljko is a highly knowledgeable and experienced instructor. He is very patient and encouraging, and clearly has a passion for music which is infectious. I enjoy my weekly lessons and always come away from them feeling better than when I arrived. Playing an instrument is an excellent stress reliever. My own experience has been very rewarding.

As an adult piano student, Zeljko's teaching style is an excellent fit for me. As well as clearly being an extraordinary musician and a passionate highly qualified / experienced piano teacher and AMEB examiner, he finds a great balance of being both encouraging and challenging and is always positive and supportive. The weekly lessons are fun and enjoyable, the ‘homework’ lesson notes that he provides are very helpful and his feedback is constructive.Zeljko is professional, approachable, reliable and flexible, and creates a great learning environment. After a long break from playing I was searching online for a highly qualified and experienced teacher and decided to start lessons with Zeljko earlier this year. I had previously completed some AMEB piano and violin exams and since starting again, I have been learning and playing a variety of enjoyable and challenging pieces across different time periods and genres in combination with some excellent technical work. I am extremely happy with the quick progress that I am making and Zeljko’s guidance and teaching style. I learned to play the piano when I was young and haven’t played for quite a long time. I decided to restart my piano journey a few months ago and found Zeljko Bedic OAM at the Paddington Music Studio who is a professional, passionate and very impressive music teacher. I was nervous at my first introductory lesson, however Zeljko was very patient and provided me with lots of helpful and insightful guidance with my piano playing and preparation for my AMEB Grade 6 exam. He always answers my questions in a manner that I can easily understand and has taught me many useful performance techniques and musical interpretation skills. His passion for music and teaching the piano to his students is incredibly evident. With Zeljko’s outstanding ability to impart knowledge to his students, I achieved a High Distinction (100%) for my AMEB Grade 1 Theory of Music which was exhilarating.
