Perc Boyer Lookout

This hill top is named after Perc Boyer who manned the fire tower (Lookout) on the summit. Traces of the tower were still visible on my previous visits with the Victorian Mountain Tramping Club in the 1980's. I found no trace of the tower in December 2022. Vegetation on the summit is moderately dense allowing only a partial view of the Macedon Range through the canopy. As this coincides with my memory from the 1980's, the tower itself must have provided the only 'lookout' on this summit. There is a memorial plaque to Perc Boyer on the summit.Allow about 25 minutes for the walk up the 4WD track from Ridge Road.
