Bit of a tight squeeze. Real bargains though. Racks a bit hard to sift through. Staff very polite and lovely

Most of the ladies working at this store are very friendly. My feedback relates to something I witnessed recently. An elderly lady wanted to buy some old unpriced books that had been put out for sale. She was told that they had to be looked at by the antique/vintage dealer next door and if he didn't want them then he would price them and they would be returned to the op shop. The lady staffer then went on to say that they do this with any old/vintage/retro/interesting items that gets donated to their store. I felt disappointed for the lady who explained she wanted to buy the books as she had read them while at school and seeing them bought memories back for her. Still a sale was refused until they were looked over 'next door'. One of the workers used to keep items in a pile for herself too (she admitted it and it was also witnessed by others) as she sorted through donations but I have not seen her there for a few weeks now. She was one of the two workers who refused to sell the books to this customer, when they had been put out for sale.

Fantastic little shop in the middle of Ipswich. Reasonable prices, some fantastic items. The two people who run the shop are fantastic members of staff and are assets to AWL. They go above and beyond to help customers. They even come outside and give our elderly dogs treats when they see us walk by.

Always great deals and very friendly staff.

Cheap clothing $2 or even $1 but I didn’t find anything worth buying. Dog beds were the way to go at $5 but all other household goods were on the expensive side

Great Shop with Friendly Staff and now and then a time to chat.
