Tallarook kangaroo sanctuary
Stewart was a kind, accommodating and personable live-in b&b host with a modern house in a rustic setting. Free NBN broadband while feeding wild kangaroos right on our doorstep? Yes please! And if you look at my photos, you might be able to spot a Phascogale - a really shy type of marsupial that likes running around the rafters of the veranda!! Other creatures we saw were a Powerful Owl, a Rock Wallaby, and many types of lovely tiny birds flitting through the trees - though all of these are wild, of course, and you might need to go looking. Truly a bush paradise for wildlife, with all the mod cons for us humans.
